Ziyarate Hazrat Ali Akbar (a.s.)

Text and Translation

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْكَ یَا بْنَ رَسُوْلِ اللّٰهِ

alssalamu `alayka yabna rasuli allahi

Peace be upon you, O son of the Messenger of Allah,

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْكَ یَابْنَ نَبِیِّ اللّٰهِ

alssalamu `alayka yabna nabiyyi allahi

peace be upon you, O son of the Prophet of Allah,

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْكَ یَابْنَ اَمِیْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ

alssalamu `alayka yabna amiri almu'minina

peace be upon you, O son of the Commander of the Faithful,

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْكَ یَابْنَ الْحُسَیْنِ الشَّهِیْدِ

alssalamu `alayka yabna alhusayni alshshahidi

peace be upon you, O son of al-Husain the martyr,

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْكَ اَیُّهَا الشَّهِیْدُ وَابْنُ الشَّهِیْدِ

alssalamu `alayka ayyuha alshshahidu wabnu alshshahidi

peace be upon you, O martyr, son of the martyr,

السَّلاَمُ عَلَیْكَ اَیُّهَا الْمَظْلُوْمُ وَابْنُ الْمَظْلُوْمِ

alssalamu `alayka ayyuha almazlumu wabnu almazlumi

peace be upon you, O the wronged one, son of the wronged one.

لَعَنَ اللّٰهُ اُمَّۃً قَتَلَتْكَ

la`ana allahu ummatan qatalatka

May Allah curse the nation that killed you,

وَلَعَنَ اللّٰهُ اُمَّۃً ظَلَمَتْكَ

wa la`ana allahu ummatan zalamatka

and may Allah curse the nation that wronged you,

وَلَعَنَ اللّٰهُ اُمَّۃً سَمِعَتْ بِذَالِكَ فَرَضِیَتِ بِهٖ۔

wa la`ana allahu ummatan sami`at bidhalika faradiyat bihi

and may Allah curse the nation that heard of that and was pleased with it.
