Dua-e-Mashlool
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEME
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ
ALLAAHUMMA INNEE AS-ALOKA BISMEKA
O Allah, verily I beseech You by Your Name:
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEME
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
یَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْاِكْرَامِ
YAA ZALJALAALE WAL IKRAAME
O Lord of majesty and honor!
یَا حَیُّ یَا قَیُّوْمُ
YAA HAYYO YAA QAYYOMO
O Ever-living! O Self-subsistent!
یَا حَیُّ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ
YAA HAYYO LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ANTA
O Ever-Living! There is no god but You!
یَا هُوَ یَا مَنْ لَّا یَعْلَمُ مَا هُوَ
YAA HOWA YAA MALLAA YA’LAMO MAA HOWA
O He Whom none knows what He is,
وَ لَا كَیْفَ هُوَ
WA LAA KAIFA HOWA
وَ لَا اَیْنَ هُوَ
WA LAA AYNA HOWA
nor where He is,
وَ لَا حَیْثُ هُوَ اِلَّا هُوَ
WA LAA HAYSO HOWA ILLAA HOWA
nor in what respect He is, but He!
یَا ذَا الْمُلْكِ وَ الْمَلَكُوْتِ
YAA ZALMULKE WAL MALAKOOTE
O Possessor of dominion and kingdom!
یَا ذَا الْعِزَّۃِ وَ الْجَبَرُوْتِ
YAA ZAL IZZATE WAL JABAROOTE
O Possessor of might and invincibility!
یَا مَلِكُ یَا قُدُّوْسُ یَا سَلَامُ
YAA MALEKO YAA QUDDOOSE YAA SALAAMO
O King! O All-holy! O Giver of peace!
یَا مُؤْمِنُ یَا مُهَیْمِنُ
YAA MOMENO YAA MOHAIMO
O Granter of security! O All-preserver!
یَا عَزِیْزُ یَا جَبَّارُ یَا مُتَكَبِّرُ
YAA A'ZEEZO YAA JABBAARO YAA MUTAKABBERO
O Almighty! O All-compeller! O All-sublime!
یَا خَالِقُ یَا بَارِءُ یَا مُصَوِّرُ
YAA KHAALEQO YAA BARE-O YAA MUSAWWERO
O Creator! O Maker! O Shaper!
یَا مُفِیْدُ یَا مُدَبِّرُ
YAA MUFEEDO YAA MUDABBERO
O grantor of Benefits! O Director!
یَا شَدِیْدُ یَا مُبْدِءُ
YAA SHADEEDO YAA MUBDEO
O Severe (in punishing the evildoers)! O Originator!
یَا مُعِیْدُ یَا مُبِیْدُ
YAA MO-E’EEDO YAA MUBEEDO
O Returner! O Destroyer!
یَا وَدُوْدُ یَا مَحْمُوْدُ یَا مَعْبُوْدُ
YAA WADOODO YAA MAHMOODO YAA MA’BOODO
O All-loving! O All-praiseworthy! O All-worshipped!
یَا بَعِیْدُ یَا قَرِیْبُ
YAA BA-E’EEDO YAA QAREEBO
O Far! O Nigh!
یَا مُجِیْبُ یَا رَقِیْبُ یَا حَسِیْبُ
YAA MUJEEBO YAA RAQEEBO YAA HASEEBO
O Responder! O Watcher! O Reckoner!
یَا بَدِیْعُ یَا رَفِیْعُ
YAA BADEE-O YAA RAFEE-O'
O Innovator! O Exalter!
یَا مَنِیْعُ یَا سَمِیْعُ
YAA MANEE-O' YAA SAMEE-O'
O Inaccessible! O All-hearing!
یَا عَلِیْمُ یَا حَلِیْمُ یَا كَرِیْمُ
YAA A’LEEMO YAA HALEEMO YAA KAREEMO
O All-knowing! O All-clement! O All-generous!
یَا حَكِیْمُ یَا قَدِیْمُ
YAA HAKEEMO YAA QADEEMO
O All-wise! O Eternal!
یَا عَلِیُّ یَا عَظِیْمُ
YAA A’LEEYO YAA A’ZEEMO
