Dua-e-Faraj اَللّٰهُمَّ كُنْ لِوَلِيِّكَ

Text and Translation

اَللّٰهُمَّ كُنْ لِّوَلِيِّكَ الْحُجَّةِ ابْنِ الْحَسَنِ

ALLAAHUMMA KUN LE WALIYYEKAL HUJJATIBNIL HASAN

O Allah! Be for Your representative, the Hujjat (proof) son of al-Hasan,

صَلَواتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلٰى آبَائِهٖ

SALAWAATOKA A’LAYHE WA A’LAA AABAA-EHI

Your blessings be on him and his forefathers,

فِيْ هٰذِهِ السَّاعَةِ

FEE HAAZEHIS SAA-A’TE

in this hour

وَفِيْ كُلِّ سَاعَةٍ

WA FEE KULLE SAA-A’H

and in every hour,

وَلِيًّا وَّحَافِظًا وَّقَائِدًا

WALIYYANW WA HAAFEZANW WA QAA-EDANW

a Guardian, a Protector, a Leader,

وَّنَاصِرًا وَّدَلِيْلًا وَّعَيْنًا

WA NAASERANW WA DALEELANW WA A’YNAA

a Helper, a Proof and an Eye

حَتّٰى تُسْكِنَهٗ اَرْضَكَ طَوْعًا

HATTA TUSKENAHU ARZAKA TAW-A’A

until You make him live on the earth in obedience (to You)

وَتُمَتِّعَهٗ فِيْهَا طَوِيْلًا.

WA TOMATTEAHU FEEHAA TAWEELAA.

and cause him to live in it for a long time.
