Ziyarat e Aale Yaseen

Text and Translation

سَلَامٌ عَلٰى آلِ يٰسٓ

SALAAMUN A’LAA AALE YAASEEN

Peace be upon (the) progeny of Yaseen.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَادَاعِىَ الله

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YAA DAA-E’YAL LAAHE

Peace be upon you, O the caller of Allah

وَرَبَّا نِىَّ اٰيَاتِهٖ

WA RABBAANIYYA AAYAATEHI

and place of manifestation of His signs.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بَابَ اللهِ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YAA BAABAL LAAHE

Peace be upon you, O the door of Allah

وَدَيَّانَ دِيْنِهٖ

WA DAYYAANA DEENEHI

and the devout one of His religion.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خَلِيْفَةَ اللهِ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YAA KHALEEFATAL LAAHE

Peace be upon you, O the vicegerent of Allah

وَنَا صِرَ حَقِهٖ

WA NAASERA HAQQEHI

and the helper of His truth.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ اللهِ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YAA HUJJATAL LAAHE

Peace be upon you, O the proof of Allah

وَدَلِيْلَا اِرَادَتِهٖ

WA DALEELA ERAADATEHI

and the Guide of His intention.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا تَالِىَ كِتَابِ اللهِ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YAA TAALEYA KETAABIL LAAHE

Peace be upon you, O the reciter of Allah’s book

وَتَرْجُمَا نَهٗ

WA TARJOMAANEHI

and its interpreter.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ فِىْ اٰنَآءِ لَيْلِكَ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA FEE AANAAA-E LAYLEKA

Peace be upon you in your night

وَاَطْرَافِ نَهَارِكَ

WA ATRAAFE NAHAAREKA

and in your day.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بَقِيَّةَ اللهِ فِىْ اَرْضِهٖ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YAA BAQIYYATAL LAAHE FEE ARZEHI

Peace be upon you, O the remnant of Allah on His earth.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مِيْثَاقَ اللهِ الَّذِىْ اَخَذَهٗ وَوَكَّدَهٗ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YAA MEESAAQAL LAAHIL LAZEE AKHAZAHU WA WAKKADAHU

Peace be upon you, O the covenant of Allah, which He took it and He fastened it.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَعْدَ اللهِ الَّذِىْ ضَمِنَهٗ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YAA WA’DAL LAAHIL LAZEE ZAMENAHU

Peace be upon you, O the promise of Allah which He guaranteed it.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْعَلَمُ الْمَنْصُوْبُ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA AYYOHAL A’LAMUL MANSOOBO

Peace by upon you, O the manifested flag

وَالْعِلْمُ الْمَصْبُوْبُ

WAL I’LMUL MASBOOBO

and the one who is filled with knowledge

وَالْغَوْثُ

WAL GHAWSO

and the help

وَالرَّحْمَةُ الْوَاسِعَةُ

WAR-RAHMATUL WAASE-A’TO

and the far-reaching mercy

وَعْدًا غَيْرَ مَكْذُوْبٍ

WA’DAN GHAYRA MAKZOOBIN

a promise which is not a lie.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ حِيْنَ تَقُوْمُ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA HEENA TAQOOMO

Peace be upon you while you are standing

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ حِيْنَ تَقْعُدُ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA HEENA TAQ-O’DO

Peace be upon you while you are sitting.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ حِيْنَ تَقْرَءُ وَتُبَيِّنُ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA HEENA TAQRA-O WA TOBAYYENO

Peace be upon you when you are reading and explaining

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ حِيْنَ تُصَلِّىْ وَتَقْنُتُ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA HEENA TOSALLEE WA TAQNOTO

Peace be upon you when you are praying and supplicating.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ حِيْنَ تَرْكُعُ وَتَسْجُدُ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA HEENA TAR-KA-O’ WA TASJODO

Peace be upon you when you are bowing and prostrating.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ حِيْنَ تُهَلِّلُ وَتُكَبِّرُ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA HEENA TOHALLELO WA TOKABBERO

Peace be upon you when you are saying ‘There is no God except Allah’ and (when) you are saying ‘Allah is greater (than what He is described).’

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ حِيْنَ تَحْمَدُ وَتَسْتَغْفِرُ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA HEENA TAHMADO WA TASTAGH-FERO

Peace be upon you when you are praising (Allah) and seeking forgiveness.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ حِيْنَ تُصْبِحُ وَتُمْسِىْ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA HEENA TUSBEHO WA TUMSEE

Peace be upon you when you enter the morning and the evening.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ فِى اللَّيْلِ اِذَا يَغْشٰى

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA FIL LAYLE EZAA YAGH-SHAA

Peace be upon you in the night when it envelops

وَالنَّهَارِ اِذَا تَجَلّٰى

WAN NAHAARE EZAA TAJALLAA

and the day when it becomes manifest.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْاِمَامُ الْمَاْمُوْنُ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA AYYOHAL EMAAMUL MAAMOONO

Peace be upon you, O the leader, the protected one.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْمُقَدَّمُ الْمَاْمُوْلُ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA AYYOHAL MOQADDAMUL MAAMOOLO

Peace be upon you, O the prior hoped one.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ بِجَوَامِعِ السَّلَامِ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA BE-JAWAAME-I’S SALAAME

Peace be upon you by the collections of the salutations.

اُشْهِدُكَ يَا مَوْلَاىَ

USH-HEDOKA YAA MAWLAAYA

I call you as a witness, O my Master

اَنِّىْ اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ

ANNEE ASH-HADO AN LAA ELAAHA ILLAL LAAHO WAHDAHU LAA SHAREEKA LAHU

Certainly I testify that there is no god except Allah, He is alone, there is no partner with Him.

وَاَنَّ مُحَمَّدً عَبْدُهٗ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ

WA ANNA MOHAMMADAN A’BDOHU WA RASOOLOHU

And indeed I testify that Muhammad is His servant and His messenger;

لَا حَبِيْبَ اِلَّا هُوَ وَاَهْلُهٗ

LAA HABEEBA ILLAA HOWA WA AHLOHU

There is no beloved except him and his progeny.

وَاُشْهِدُكَ يَا مَوْلَا يَ

WA USH-HEDOKA YAA MAWLAAYA

And I call you as a witness, O my Master

اَنَّ عَلِيًّا اَمِيْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ حُجَّتُهٗ

ANNA A’LIYYAN AMEERAL MOMENEENA HUJJATOHU

certainly Ali, the commander of the believers is His proof.

وَالْحَسَنَ حُجَّتُهٗ

WAL HASANA HUJJATOHU

And Hasan is His proof.

وَالْحُسَيْنَ حُجَّتُهٗ

WAL HUSAYNA HUJJATOHU

And Husain is His proof.

وَعَلِىَّ ابْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ حُجَّتُهٗ

WA A’LIYYAB NAL HUSAYNE HUJJATOHU

And Ali, son of Husain is His proof.

وَمُحَمَّدْ بْنَ عَلِىٍّ حُجَّتُهٗ

WA MOHAMMAD ABNA A’LIYYIN HUJJATOHU

And Muhammad, son of Ali is His proof.

وَجَعْفَرَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ حُجَّتُهٗ

WA JA’FAR ABNA MOHAMMADIN HUJJATOHU

And Ja’far, son of Muhammad is His proof.

وَمُوْسَى بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ حُجَّتُهٗ

WA MOOSABNA JA’FARIN HUJJATOHU

And Moosa, son of Ja’far is His proof.

وَعَلَىِّ بْنَ مُوْسٰى حُجَّتُهٗ

WA A’LIYYIBNA MOOSAA HUJJATOHU

And Ali, son of Moosa is His proof.

وَمُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِىٍّ حُجَّتُهٗ

WA MOHAMMADABNA A’LIYYIN HUJJATOHU

And Muhammad, son of Ali is His proof.

وَعَلِىَّ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ حُجَّتُهٗ

WA A’LIYYABNA MOHAMMADIN HUJJATOHU

And Ali, son of Muhammad is His proof.

وَالْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِىٍّ حُجَّتُهٗ

WAL HASANABNA A’LIYYIN HUJJATOHU

And Hasan, son of Ali is His proof.

وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ حُجَّةُ اللهِ

WA ASH-HADO ANNAKA HUJJATUL LAAHE

And I testify that indeed you are the proof of Allah.

اَنْتُمُ الْاَوَّلُ وَالْاٰخِرُ

ANTOMUL AWWALO WAL AAKHERO

All of you, the first and the last.

وَاَنَّ رَجْعَتَكُمْ حَقٌّ

WA ANNA RAJ-A’TAKUM HAQQUN

And surely your return is a truth,

لَا رَيْبَ فِيْهَا

LAA RAYBA FEEHAA

there is no doubt in it.

يَوْمَ لَا يَنْفَعُ نَفْسًا اِيْمَا نُهَا

YAWMA LAA YANFA-O’ NAFSAN EEMAANOHAA

The day when belief of none will benefit himself

لَمْ تَكُنْ اٰمَنَتْ مِنْ قَبْلُ

LAM TAKUN AAMANAT MIN QABLO

who previously did not believe

اَوْكَسَبَتْ فِىْ اِيْمَانِهَا خَيْرًا

AW KASABAT FEE EEMAANEHAA KHAYRAN

or acquired a goodness through his belief.

وَاَنَّ الْمُوْتَ حَقٌّ

WA ANNAL MAWTA HAQQUN

And indeed death is a truth.

وَاَنَّ نَاكِرًا وَنَكِيْرًا حَقٌّ

WA ANNA NAAKERAN WA NAKEERAN HAQQUN

And indeed Naakir and Nakeer is a truth.

وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّ النَّشْرَ حَقٌّ

WA ASH-HADO ANNAN NASHRA HAQQUN

And I testify that indeed the scattering (stage of Qiyamat) is a truth

وَالْبَعْثَ حَقٌّ

WAL BA’SA HAQQUN

and the raising is a truth.

وَاَنَّ الصِّرَاطَ حَقٌّ

WA ANNAS SERAATA HAQQUN

And indeed the bridge (over hell) is a truth

وَالْمِرْصَادَ حَقٌّ

WAL MIRSAADA HAQQUN

and the watching place is a truth.

وَالْمِيْزَانَ حَقٌّ

WAL MEEZAANA HAQQUN

And the balance is a truth

وَالْحَشْرَ حَقٌّ

WAL HASHRA HAQQUN

and the gathering is a truth

وَالْحِسَابَ حَقٌّ

WAL HESAABA HAQQUN

And the accounting (of deeds) is a truth

وَالْجَنَّةَ حَقٌّ

WAL JANNATA HAQQUN

and the Paradise

وَالنَّارَ حَقٌّ

WAN NAARA HAQQUN

and the hell is a truth.

وَالْوَعْدَ وَالْوَعِيْدَ بِهِمَا حَقٌّ

WAL WA’DA WAL WA-E’EDA BEHEMAA HAQQUN

And the promise (of reward) and the threat (of the punishment) in them is a truth.

يَا مَوْلَايَ شَقِىَ مَنْ خَالَفَكُمْ

YAA MAWLAAYA SHA-QEYA MAN KHAALAFAKUM

O my Master, one who opposes you is unlucky.

وَسَعِدَ مَنْ اَطَاعَكُمْ

WA SA-E’DA MAN A-TAA-A’KUM

And one who obeys you is lucky.

فَاَشْهَدْ عَلٰى مَا اَشْهَدْ تُكَ عَلَيْهِ

FASH-HAD A’LAA MAA ASH-HADTOKA A’LAYHE

Then testify whatever I made you a witness upon it.

وَاَنَا وَلِىٌّ لَكَ

WA ANAA WALIYYUN LAKA

And I am a friend for you,

بَرِىْءٌ مِنْ عَدُوِّكَ

BAREE-UN MIN A’DUWWEKUM

acquitted from your enemy.

فَالْحَقُّ مَا رَضِيْتُمُوْهُ

FAL HAQQO MAA RAZEETOMOOHO

So the truth is whatever you are satisfied with.

وَالْبَاطِلُ مَا اَسْخَطْتُمُوْهُ

WAL BAATELO MAA ASKHAT-TOMOOHO

And the untrue is whatever you are angry with.

وَالْمَعْرُوْفُ مَا اَمَرْتُمْ بِهٖ

WAL MA’ROOFO MAA AMARTUM BEHI

And the goodness is whatever you ordered.

وَالْمُنْكَرُ مَا نَهَيْتُمْ عَنْهُ

WAL MUNKARO MAA NAHAYTUM A’NHO

And the evil is whatever you have prohibited from.

فَنَفْسِىْ مُؤْمِنَةٌ بِاللهِ

FA-NAFSEE MOA-MENATAN BILLAAHE

So I am a believer in Allah,

وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ

WAHDAHU LAA SHAREEKA LAHU

He alone, there is no partner with Him.

وَبِرَسُوْلِهٖ وَبِاَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ

WA BE-RASOOLEHI WA BE AMEERIL MOMENEENA

And (I am a believer) in His messenger and in the commander of the believers.

وَبِكُمْ يَا مَوْلَاىَ اَوَّلِكُمْ وَاٰخِرِكُمْ

WA BEKUM YAA MAWLAAYA AWWALEKUM WA AAKHEREKUM

And in you O my Master, the first among you and the last among you.

وَنُصْرَ تِىْ مُعَدَّةُ لَكُمْ

WA NUSRATEE MO-A’DDATAN LAKUM

And my help is intended for you.

وَمَوَدَّتِىْ خَالِصَةٌ لَكُمْ

WA MAWADDEE KHAALESATAN LAKUM

And my love is purely for you.

اٰمِيْنَ اٰمِيْنَ.

AAMEENA AAMEENA

Amen! Amen! (Accept! Accept!)

Dua to be recited after Ziyarat

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّیْٓ اَسْئَلُكَ اَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ

ALLAAHUMMA INNEE AS-ALOKA AN TOSALLEYA A’LAA MOHAMMADIN

O Allah, surely I ask You that You send blessings upon Muhammad (s.a.w.a.)

نَّبِیِّ رَحْمَتِكَ وَكَلِمَۃِ نُوْرِكَ

NABIYYIR RAHMATEKA WA KALEMATE NOOREKA

The prophet of Your mercy and the word of your light.

وَاَنْ تَمْلَاَ قَلْبِیْ نُوْرَ الْیَقِیْنِ

WA AN TAMLA-A QALBEE NOORAL YAQEENE

And fill my heart with the light of certainty

وَصَدْرِیْ نُوْرَا الْاِیْمَانِ

WA SADREE NOORAL EEMAANE

And my chest with light of faith.

وَفِكْرِیْ نُوْرَالنِّیَّاتِ

WA FIQREE NOORAN NIYYAATE

And my thinking with the light of intentions.

وَعَزْمِیْ نُوْرَ الْعِلْمِ

WA A’ZMEE NOORAL I’LME

And my determination with the light of knowledge.

وَقُوَّتِیْ نُوْرَ الْعَمَلِ

WA QUWWATEE NOORAL A’MALE

And my strength with the light of action.

وَلِسَانِیْ نُوْرَالصِّدْقِ

WA LESAANEE NOORAS SIDQE

And my tongue with the light of truthfulness.

وَدِیْنِیْ نُوْرَ الْبَصَآئِرِ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ

WA DEENEE NOORAL BASAAA-ERE MIN I’NDEKA

And my religion with the light of understanding from You.

وَبَصَرِیْ نُوْرَ الضِّیَآءِ

WA BASAREE NOORAZ ZEYAAA-E

And my vision with brightness.

وَسَمْعِیْ نُوْرَ الْحِكْمَۃِ

WA SAM-E’E NOORAL HIKMATE

And my hearing with the light of wisdom.

وَمَوَدَّتِیْ نُوْرَ الْمُوَالَاۃِ

WA MAWADDATEE NOORAL MOWAALAATE

And my love with the light of friendship

لِمُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِهٖ عَلَیْهِمُ السَّلَامُ

LE-MOHAMMADIN WA AALEHI A’LAYHEMUS SALAAMO

for Muhammad (s.a.w.a.) and his progeny. Peace be upon (all of) them

حَتّٰی اَلْقَاكَ

HATTAA ALQAAKA

until I meet You.

وَقَدْ وَفَیْتُ بِعَهْدِكَ وَمِیْثَاقِكَ

WA QAD WAFAYTO BE-A’HDEKA WA MEESAAQEKA

And certainly I discharged Your promise and Your covenant.

فَتُغَشِّیَنِیْ رَحْمَتُكَ

FA-TOGHASH-SHEYANEE RAHMATOKA

یَا وَلِیُّ یَا حَمِیْدُ

YAA WALIYYO YAA HAMEEDO

So You cover me with Your mercy,

O Master ! O Praiseworthy.

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ حُجَّتِكَ فِیْٓ اَرْضِكَ

ALLAAHUMMA SALLE A’LAA MOHAMMADIN HUJJATEKA FEE ARZEKA

O Allah send Your blessings upon Muhammad, Your proof on Your earth.

وَخَلِیْفَتِكَ فِیْ بِلَادِكَ

WA KHALEEFATEKA FEE BELAADEKA

And Your vicegerent of Your cities.

وَالدَّاعِیْ اِلٰی سَبِیْلِكَ

WAD-DAAA-E’E ELAA SABEELEKA

And the caller towards Your way.

وَالْقَآئِمِ بِقِسْطِكَ

WAL QAAA-EME BE-QISTEKA

And the upright by Your justice.

وَالثَّآئِرِ بِاَمْرِكَ

WAS-SAAA-ERE BE-AMREKA

And the one who arouses by Your command.

وَلِیِّ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ

WALIYYIL MOMENEENA

The master of the believer

وَبَوَارِ الْكَافِرِیْنَ

WA BAWAARIL KAAFEREENA

and the perdition of the disbelievers.

وَمُجَلِّی الظُّلْمَۃِ

WA MOJALLIZ ZULMATE

And the enlighter of the darkness.

وَمُنِیْرِ الْحَقِّ

WA MONEERIL HAQQE

And the illuminator of the truth.

وَالنَّاطِقِ بِالْحِكْمَۃِ وَالصِّدْقِ

WAN-NAATEQE BIL-HIKMATE WAS SIDQE

And the speaker with the wisdom and the truth.

وَكَلِمَتِكَ التَّآمَّۃِ فِیْٓ اَرْضِكَ

WA KALEMATEKAT TAAMMATE FEE ARZEKAL

And Your complete word on Your earth.

الْمُرْتَقِبِ الْخَآئِفِ

MURTAQEBIL KHAAA-EFE

The anxious anticipator

وَالْوَلِیِّ النَّاصِحِ

WAL WALIYYIN NAASEHE

and the counseling Master,

سَفِیْنَۃِ النَّجَاۃِ

SAFEENATIN NAJAATE

the ship of salvation.

وَعَلَمِ الْهُدٰی

WA A’LAMIL HODAA

And the flag of guidance

وَنُوْرِ اَبْصَارِ الْوَرٰی

WA NOORE ABSAARIL WARAA

and the light of the sight of mankind.

وَخَیْرِ مَنْ تَقَمَّصَ وَارْتَدٰی

WA KHAYRE MAN TAQAMMASA WAR TADAA

And best of he who was attired and was clothed

وَمُجَلِّی الْعَمَی

WA MOJALLIL A’MAL

and the illuminator of the blind.

الَّذِیْ یَمْلَاُ الْاَرْضَ عَدْلًا وَّقِسْطًا

LAZEE YAMLA-UL ARZA A’DLAN WA QISTAN

The one who will fill the earth with justice and equity just

كَمَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلْمًا وَّجَوْرًا

KAMAA MOLE-AT ZULMAN WA JAWRAN

as it was filled with injustice and oppression.

اِنَّكَ عَلٰی كُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیْرٌ

INNAKA A’LAA KULLE SHAY-IN QADEERUN

Surely You are powerful over everything.

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی وَلِیِّكَ وَابْنِ اَوْلِیَآئِكَ

ALLAAHUMMA SALLE A’LAA WALIYYEKA WABNE AWLEYAAA-EKAL

O Allah send your blessings upon Your friend and son of Your friends.

الَّذِیْنَ فَرَضْتَ طَاعَتَهُمْ

LAZEENA FARAZTA TAA-A’TAHUM

Those whom You have ordered (for) obeying them.

وَاَوْجَبْتَ حَقَّهُمْ

WA AWJABTA HAQQAHUM

And You made (the observation of) their rights compulsory

وَاَذْهَبْتَ عَنْهُمُ الرِّجْسَ وَطَهَّرْتَهُمْ تَطْهِیْرًا

WA AZHABTA A’NHOMUR RIZSA WA TAHHARTAHUM TATHEERAN

And You removed from them the uncleanliness and purified them a thorough purifying.

اَللّٰهُمَّ انْصُرْهُ

ALLAAHUMMAN SURHO

وَانْتَصِرْ بِهٖ لِدِیْنِكَ

WAN TASIR BEHI LEDEENEKA

O Allah help him and come to the aid of Your religion through him

وَانْصُرْ بِهٖ اَوْلِیَآئَكَ وَاَوْلِیَآئَهٗ

WAN SUR BEHI AWLEYAAA-AKA WA ALWEYAA-AHU

And help Your friends and his friends

وَشِیْعَتَهٗ وَاَنْصَارَهٗ

WA SHEE-A’TAHU WA ANSAARAHU

and his followers and his helpers through him.

وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنْهُمْ

WAJ A’LNAA MINHUM

And place us among them.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اَعِذْهُ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ بَاغٍ وَّطَاغٍ

ALLAAHUMMA A-I’ZHO MIN SHARRE KULLE BAAGHIN WA TAAGHIN

O Allah protect him from the evil of every tyrant and despot.

وَّمِنْ شَرِّ جَمِیْعِ خَلْقِكَ

WA MIN SHARRE JAMEE-E’ KHALQEKA

And from the evil of all your creatures.

وَاحْفَظْهُ مِنْۢ بَیْنِ یَدَیْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهٖ

WAH FAZHO MIM BAYNE YADAYHE WA MIN KHALFEHI

And protect him from his front

وَعَنْ یَّمِیْنِهٖ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهٖ

WA A’NY YAMEENEHI WA A’N SHEMAALEHI

and his back and his right and from his left.

وَاحْرُسْهُ وَامْنَعْهُ مِنْ اَنْ یُّوْصَلَ اِلَیْهِ بِسُوْٓءٍ

WAHRUSHO WAM-NA’HO MIN AYN YOOSALA ELAYHE BE-SOOO-IN

And protect him and prevent from him the reaching of any evil.

وَّاحْفَظْ فِیْهِ رَسُوْلَكَ وَاٰلَ رَسُوْلِكَ

WAH FAZHO FEEHE RASOOLAKA WA AALA RASOOLEKA

And protect Your messenger and the progeny of Your messenger through him.

وَاَظْهِرْ بِهِ الْعَدْلَ

WA AZHIR BEHIL A’DLA

And make the justice manifest through him.

وَاَیِّدْهُ بِالنَّصْرِ

WA AYYIDHO BIN-NASRE

And support him by the victory.

وَانْصُرْ نَاصِرِیْهِ

WAN SUR NAASEREEHE

And help his helpers and abandon his deserters.

وَاخْذُلْ خَاذِلِیْهِ

WAKH ZUL KHAAZELEEHE

وَاقْصِمْ قَاصِمِیْهِ

WAQ SIM QAASEMEEHE

And break up his dividers

وَاقْصِمْ بِهٖ جَبَابِرَۃَ الْكُفْرِ

WAQ SIM BEHI JABAABERATAL KUFRE

and break up the giants of disbelief through him.

وَاقْتُلْ بِهِ الْكُفَّارَ وَالْمُنَافِقِیْنَ

WAQ TUL BEHIL KUFFAARA WAL MONAAFEQEENA

And through him kill the disbelievers and the hypocrites

وَجَمِیْعَ الْمُلْحِدِیْنَ

WA JAMEE-I’L MULHEDEENA

and all the heretics.

حَیْثُ كَانُوْا مِنْ مَّشَارِقِ الْاَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبِهَا

HAYSO KAANU MIM MASHAAREQIL ARZE WA MAGHAAREBEHAA

Wherever they be, in the east of the earth and its west,

بَرِّهَا وَبَحْرِهَا

BARREHAA WA BAHREHAA

its land and its sea.

وَامْلَأْ بِهِ الْاَرْضَ عَدْلًا

WAM LAA BEHIL ARZA A’DLANW

And fill the earth with justice through him.

وَّاَظْهِرْ بِهٖ دِیْنَ نَبِیِّكَ

WA AZHIR BEHI DEENA NABIYYEKA

صَلَّی اللّٰهُ عَلَیْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ

SALLAL LAAHO A’LAYHE WA AALEHI

And manifest the religion of your prophet, blessings be upon him and his progeny through him.

وَاجْعَلْنِیْ اَللّٰهُمَّ مِنْ اَنْصَارِهٖ وَاَعْوَانِهٖ

WAJ A’LNEE ALLAAHUMMA MIN ANSAAREHI WA A-A’WAANEHI

And place me, O Allah, among his helpers and his aiders

وَاَتْبَاعِهٖ وَشِیْعَتِهٖ

WA ATBAA-E’HI WA SHEE-A’TEHI

and his followers and his partisans.

وَاَرِنِیْ فِیْٓ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَیْهِمُ السَّلَامُ مَا یَاْمُلُوْنَ

WA ARENEE FEE AALE MOHAMMADIN A’LAYHEMUS SALAAMO MAA YAAMOLOONA

And show me in the progeny of Muhammad peace be upon them, whatever they are hoping.

وَفِیْ عَدُوِّهِمْ مَا یَحْذَرُوْنَ

WA FEE A’DUWWEHIM MAA YAHZAROONA

And in their enemies whatever the enemies are afraid (of).

اِلٰهَ الْحَقِّ اٰمِیْنَ

ELAAHAL HAQQE AAMEENA

O God of the truth, Amen (Accept).

یَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْاِكْرَامِ

YAA ZAL JALAALE WAL IKRAAME

O the possessor of splendour and honour!

یَآ اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ.

YAA ARHAMAR RAAHEMEENA.

O the most merciful of all the mercifuls.
