Ziyarat-e-Imam Husain (a.s.)

Text and Translation

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا اَبَا عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YAA ABAA A’BDILLAAH

Peace be upon you, O Abu Abdillah.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا بْنَ رَسُوْلِ اللّٰهِ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YABNA RASOOLIL LAAH

Peace be upon you, O Son of the Messenger of Allah.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَابْنَ اَمِیْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YABNA AMEERAL MOAMENEENA

Peace be upon you, O Son of the Commander of the Faithful,

وَابْنَ سَیِّدِ الْوَصِیِّیْنَ

WABNA SAYYEDIL WASIYYEENA,

And the Son of the Master of the Successors.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَابْنَ فَاطِمَۃَ الزَّهْرَآءِ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YABNA FAATEMATAZ ZAHRAAA-E

Peace be upon you, O Son of Fatima al-Zahra,

سَیِّدَۃِ نِسَاءِ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ

SAYYEDATE NESAAA-IL A’ALAMEEN

The Mistress of the Women of the Worlds.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ وَ عَلٰی جَدِّكَ وَ اَبِیْكَ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA WA A’LAA JADDEKA WA ABEEKA

Peace be upon you and upon your grandfather and your father.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ وَ عَلٰی اُمِّكَ وَ اَخِیْكَ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA WA A’LAA UMMEKA WA AKHEEKA

Peace be upon you and upon your mother and your brother.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ وَ عَلٰی تِسْعَۃِ الْمَعْصُوْمِیْنَ مِنْ ذُرِّیَّتِكَ وَ بَنِیْكَ

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA WA A’LAA TIS-A’TIL MA’SOOMEENA MIN ZURRIYATEKA WA BANEEKA

Peace be upon you and upon the nine Infallibles from your progeny and your sons.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكُمْ یَا سَادَاتِیْ جَمِیْعًا وَ رَحْمَۃُ اللّٰهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهٗ.

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKUM YAA SAADAATEE JAMEE-A’N WA RAHMATUL LAAHE WA BARAKAATOH.

Peace be upon you, O my Masters, all of you, and the Mercy of Allah and His Blessings.
