Ziyarat e Imam Husain (a)

Text and Translation

اَللهُ اَكْبَرُ اَللهُ اَكْبَرُ

ALLAAHU AKBAR, ALLAAHU AKBAR

Allah is the Most Great, Allah is the Most Great.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ رَسُوْلِ اللّٰهِ

ASSALAAMU A'LAYKA YABNA RASOOLILLAAH

Peace be upon you, O son of Allah's Messenger.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّيْنَ

ASSALAAMU A'LAYKA YABNA KHAATAMIN NABIYYEEN

Peace be upon you, O son of the Seal of the Prophets.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ سَيِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ

ASSALAAMU A'LAYKA YABNA SAYYIDIL MURSALEEN

Peace be upon you, O son of the Chief of the Messengers.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ سَيِّدِ الْوَصِيِّيْنَ

ASSALAAMU A'LAYKA YABNA SAYYIDIL WASIYYEEN

Peace be upon you, O son of the Chief of the Prophets' successors.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا اَبَا عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ

ASSALAAMU A'LAYKA YAA ABAA A'BDILLAAH

Peace be upon you, O Aba-Abdullah.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ

ASSALAAMU A'LAYKA YAA HUSAYNABNA A'LIYY

Peace be upon you, O al-Husayn, son of Ali.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ فَاطِمَةَ سَيِّدَةِ نِسَآءِ الْعَالَمِيْنَ

ASSALAAMU A'LAYKA YABNA FAATIMATA SAYYIDATI NISAAA'IL A'ALAMEEN

Peace be upon you, O son of Fatimah, the doyenne of the women of the world.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ اللّٰهِ وَ ابْنَ وَلِيِّهٖ

ASSALAAMU A'LAYKA YAA WALIYYALLAAHI WABNA WALIYYIH

Peace be upon you, O saint of Allah and son of His saint.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا صَفِيَّ اللّٰهِ وَ ابْنَ صَفِيِّهٖ

ASSALAAMU A'LAYKA YAA SAFIYYALLAAHI WABNA SAFIYYIH

Peace be upon you, O chosen of Allah and son of His chosen.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ اللّٰهِ وَ ابْنَ حُجَّتِهٖ

ASSALAAMU A'LAYKA YAA HUJJATALLAAHI WABNA HUJJATIH

Peace be upon you, O proof of Allah and son of His proof.
