Ziyaarat-e-Jaamea'h Sagheerah

Text and Translation

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰی اَوْلِیَآءِ اللهِ وَ اَصْفِیَآئِهٖ

ASSALAAMO A’LAA AWLEYAAA-ILLAAHE WA ASFEYAAA-EHI

Peace be on the sincere adherents of Allah, who are also His exceptional favourites,

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰی اُمَنَآءِ اللهِ وَ اَحِبَّآئِهٖ

ASSALAAMO A'LAA OMANAAA-IL LAAHE WA AHIBBAAA-EHI

Peace be on the trustees of Allah, who are also His dearest friends.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰی اَنْصَارِ اللهِ وَ خُلَفَآئِهٖ

ASSALAAMO A'LAA ANSAARIL LAAHE WA KHOLAFAAA-EHI

Peace be on the supporters of Allah, who are also His representatives.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰی مَحَآلِّ مَعْرِفَۃِ اللهِ

ASSALAAMO A'LAA MAHAAALLE MAA'-REFATIL LAAHE

Peace be on the medium of the awareness of Allah.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰی مَسَاكِنِ ذِكْرِ اللهِ

ASSALAAMO A'LAA MASAAKENE ZIKRIL LAAHE

Peace be on the centre of the remembrance of Allah.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰی مُظْهِرِیْ اَمْرِ اللّٰهِ وَ نَهْیِهٖ

ASSALAAMO A'LAA MUZHEREE AMRIL LAAHE WA NAHYEHI

Peace be on (you) who make clear His lawful and unlawful.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَی الدُّعَاۃِ اِلَی اللّٰهِ

ASSALAAMO A'LAD DO-A'ATE ELAL LAAHE

Peace be on (you) who invite mankind unto Allah.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَی الْمُسْتَقِرِّیْنَ فِیْ مَرْضَاۃِ اللّٰهِ

ASSALAAMO A'LAL MUSTAQIRREENA FEE MARZAATIL LAAHE

Peace be on (you) who occupy and supervise the centre through which Allah’s pleasure is routed.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَی الْمُخْلِصِیْنَ فِیْ طَاعَۃِ اللّٰهِ

ASSALAAMO A'LAL MUKHLESEENA FEE TAA-A'TIL LAAHE

Peace be on (you) who truly obey and serve Allah.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَی الْاَدِلَّآءِ عَلَی اللّٰهِ

ASSALAAMO A'LAL A-DILLAAA-E A'LAL LAAHE

Peace be on (you) who show the right path leading unto Allah.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَی الَّذِیْنَ مَنْ وَ الَاهُمْ فَقَدْ وَالَی اللهَ

ASSALAAMO A'LAL LAZEENA MAN WAALAAHUM FAQAD WAALAL LAAHA

Peace be on (you) whom whoso befriends, in fact, makes friends with Allah,

وَ مَنْ عَادَاهُمْ فَقَدْ عَادَی اللهَ

WA MAN A'ADAAHUM FAQAD A'ADAL LAAHA

whom whoso opposes, in fact, runs counter to Allah,

وَ مَنْ عَرَفَهُمْ فَقَدْ عَرَفَ اللهَ

WA MAN A'RAFAHUM FAQAD A'RAFAL LAAHA

whom whoso understands, in fact, recognises Allah,

وَ مَنْ جَهِلَهُمْ فَقَدْ جَهِلَ اللهَ

WA MAN JAHELAHUM FAQAD JAHELAL LAAHA

whom whoso passes over, in fact, ignores Allah,

وَ مَنِ اعْتَصَمَ بِهِمْ فَقَدِ اعْتَصَمَ بِاللّٰهِ

WA MANE'-TASAMA BEHIM FAQADE'-TASAMA BILLAAHE

whom whoso defends, in fact, supports Allah,

وَ مَنْ تَخَلّٰی مِنْهُمْ فَقَدْ تَخَلّٰی مِنَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ

WA MAN TAKHALLAA MINHUM FAQAD TAKHALLAA MENAL LAAHE A'ZZA WA JALLA

whom whoso deserts, in fact, abandons the Almighty Allah.

وَاُشْهِدُ اللهَ اَنِّیْ سِلْمٌ لِمَنْ سَالَمْتُمْ

WA USH-HEDUL LAAHA ANNEE SILMUN LEMAN SAALAMTUM

I request Allah to vouch for me that I make peace with those who are at peace with you,

وَ حَرْبٌ لِمَنْ حَارَبْتُمْ مُؤْمِنٌ بِسِرِّكُمْ وَعَلَانِیَتِكُمْ

WA HARBUN LEMAN HAARABTUM MOMENUN BE-SIRREKUM WA A'LAANEYATEKUM

I make war upon those who declare war on you, I believe in that which is concealed and in that which is evident concerning you,

مُفَوِّضٌ فِیْ ذٰلِكَ كُلِّهٖ اِلَیْكُمْ

MOFAWWEZUN FEE ZAALEKA KULLEHI ELAYKUM

I give total control of my affairs in your hands.

لَعَنَ اللهُ عَدُوَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْاِنْسِ

LA-A'NAL LAAHO A'DUWWA AALE MOHAMMADIN MENAL JINNE WAL INSE

May Allah curse the enemies of Progeny of Muhammad, be they jinn or men,

وَ اَبْرَءُ اِلَی اللّٰهِ مِنْهُمْ وَ صَلَّی اللهٌ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِهٖ.

WA ABRA-O WA SALLALLAAHO A'LAA MOHAMMADIN WA AALEHI

I disconnect all links with them and turn to Allah, and Allah's blessings be on Muhammad and on his children.
