Text and Translation

To restore a lost animal, it is advised to recite [Surah Yasin](A40) in a two-unit prayer and then say:

يَا هَادِىَ الضَّاۤلَّةِ رُدَّ عَلَىَّ ضَاۤلَّتِىْ

YAA HAADIYAD DAAALLATI RUDDA A'LAYYA DAAALLATEE

O Guide of the strayed, restore to me my strayed one.

To restore a fugitive servant, it is advised to recite the verse on darkness layered upon a vast sea, from [Surah al-Nur](A28) (24:40).
