The Holy Prophet's (s) dua

Text and Translation

Fourteenth: this supplicatory prayer is ascribed to the Holy Prophet (s):

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْۤ اَعُوْذُ بِكَ اَنْ اَفْتَقِرَ فِىْ غِنَاكَ اَوْ اَضِلَّ فِىْ هُدَاكَ اَوْ اَذِلَّ فِىْ عِزِّكَ اَوْ اُضَامَ فِىْ سُلْطَانِكَ اَوْ اُضْطَهَدَ وَالْاَمْرُ اِلَيْكَ

ALLAAHUMMA INNEE A'OOZU BIKA AN AFTAQIRA FEE GHINAAKA AW ADILLA FEE HUDAAKA AW AZILLA FEE I'ZZIKA AW UDAAMA FEE SULTAANIKA AW UDTAHADA WAL AMRU ILAYK

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from becoming poor amid Your riches, straying amid Your guidance, being humiliated amid Your might, being wronged amid Your dominion, or being oppressed — the matter being entirely in Your hands,

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْۤ اَعُوْذُ بِكَ اَنْ اَقُوْلَ زُوْرًا اَوْ اَغْشٰى فُجُوْرًا اَوْ اَكُوْنَ بِكَ مَغْرُوْرًا

ALLAAHUMMA INNEE A'OOZU BIKA AN AQOOLA ZOORAN AW AGHSHAA FUJOORAN AW AKOONA BIKA MAGHROORAA

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from speaking falsehood, committing indecency, or being deluded about You.
