Taweez for Chest Pains

Text and Translation

It is reported that the following verse from [Surah al-Baqarah](A6) (2:72) may be recited by those who suffer from chest pains:

وَ اِذْ قَتَلْتُمْ نَفْسًا فَادّٰرَءْتُمْ فِيْهَا وَ اللّٰهُ مُخْرِجٌ مَّا كُنْتُمْ تَكْتُمُوْنَ

WA IDH QATALTUM NAFSAN FADDAARA'TUM FEEHAA, WALLAAHU MUKHRIJUM MAA KUNTUM TAKTUMOON

And remember when you slew a man and disputed over it, but Allah was to bring forth that which you were hiding.

A tradition reads: Seek healing from the Holy Qur'an, for Almighty Allah says: 'O men! There has come to you indeed an admonition from your Lord and a healing for what is in the breasts' (10:57).
