Special Features of Surah Qadr, Tawheed & Ayah Al Kursi

Text and Translation

Second: quoted from al-Kafi too, the Holy Prophet (s) is reported to have said, "Whoever recites the first four verses of [Surah al-Baqarah](A6), [Ayat al-Kursi](A4) and the two verses following it, and the last three verses of the same Surah, will not experience any misfortune in himself or in his property; will not be approached by Satan; and will not forget the Holy Qur'an."

Third: Shaykh al-Kulayni, in al-Kafi, has quoted Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (a) as saying, "Whoever recites [Surah al-Qadr](A101) with an audible tone will be regarded as one who unsheathes his sword (in a battle for the sake of Almighty Allah); whoever recites it in an inaudible tone will be regarded as one whose blood has been shed for the sake of Almighty Allah; and whoever repeats it ten times, one thousand of his sins will be forgiven."
