Namaz on Friday Nights and the Night of Eid al-Adha for Fulfillment of Needs

Sayyid Ibn Tawus (r.a.) has reported this prayer for Friday nights and the night before the Day of Eid al-Adha (the tenth of Dhul Hijjah).

Merits

Sayyid Ibn Tawus (r.a.) has reported this prayer for Friday nights and the night before the Day of Eid al-Adha (the tenth of Dhul Hijjah).

Offer a two-unit prayer. In each unit, recite [Surah al-Fatihah](A5), and when you reach the following verse, repeat it one hundred times:

اِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَاِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِيْنُ

IYYAAKA NA'BUDU WA IYYAAKA NASTA'EEN

You alone do we worship, and You alone do we ask for help.

Then complete Surah al-Fatihah and recite [Surah al-Tawhid](A116) two hundred times.

Upon accomplishment of the prayer, repeat the following seventy times:

لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيْمِ

LAA HAWLA WA LAA QUWWATA ILLAA BILLAAHIL A'LIYYIL A'ZEEM

There is no might and no strength save in Allah, the High, the Great.

Then prostrate and repeat the following two hundred times:

يَا رَبِّ

YAA RABB

O my Lord!

Then pray to Almighty Allah for whatever you want, and all your requests will be granted, Allah willing.
