Merits
In his book of Jamal al-Usbu', Sayyid Ibn Tawus has recorded a special prayer and supplication for each of the Holy Imams (a.s.), to be offered on Fridays.
Imam al-Hasan (a.s.)'s prayer consists of four units. In each unit, recite [Surah al-Fatihah](A5) once and [Surah al-Tawhid](A116) twenty-five times.
Text and Translation
Upon concluding the prayer, say the following supplication:
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَتَقَرَّبُ اِلَيْكَ بِجُوْدِكَ وَكَرَمِكَ
ALLAAHUMMA INNEE ATAQARRABU ILAYKA BIJOODIKA WA KARAMIK
O Allah, I seek nearness to You in the name of Your magnanimity and nobility.
وَاَتَقَرَّبُ اِلَيْكَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُوْلِكَ
WA ATAQARRABU ILAYKA BIMUHAMMADIN A'BDIKA WA RASOOLIK
I seek nearness to You in the name of Muhammad, Your servant and messenger.
وَاَتَقَرَّبُ اِلَيْكَ بِمَلَائِكَتِكَ الْمُقَرَّبِيْنَ
WA ATAQARRABU ILAYKA BIMALAA'IKATIKAL MUQARRABEEN
I seek nearness to You in the name of Your Favorite Angels
وَاَنْبِيَائِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ
WA ANBIYAA'IKA WA RUSULIK
and Your prophets and messengers,
اَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ
AN TUSALLIYA A'LAA MUHAMMADIN
[and I beseech You] to send blessings to Muhammad,
عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُوْلِكَ
A'BDIKA WA RASOOLIK
Your servant and messenger,
وَعَلٰى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
WA A'LAA AALI MUHAMMAD
and upon the Household of Muhammad,
وَاَنْ تُقِيْلَنِيْ عَثْرَتِيْ
WA AN TUQEELANEE A'THRATEE
overlook my slips,
وَتَسْتُرَ عَلَيَّ ذُنُوْبِيْ
WA TASTURA A'LAYYA DHUNOOBEE
cover my sins,
وَتَغْفِرَهَا لِيْ
WA TAGHFIRAHAA LEE
forgive them for me,
وَتَقْضِيَ لِيْ حَوَائِجِيْ
WA TAQDIYA LEE HAWAA'IJEE
settle all my needs,
وَلَا تُعَذِّبْنِيْ بِقَبِيْحٍ كَانَ مِنِّيْ
WA LAA TU'ADHDHIBNEE BIQABEEHIN KAANA MINNEE
and not to punish me for the evildoings that I have committed.
فَاِنَّ عَفْوَكَ وَجُوْدَكَ يَسَعُنِيْ
FA-INNA A'FWAKA WA JOODAKA YASA'UNEE
Verily, Your pardon and magnanimity include me.
اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
INNAKA A'LAA KULLI SHAY'IN QADEER
Verily, You have power over all things.
