Merits
Sayyid Ibn Tawus narrates that Imam al-Rida (a.s.) was asked about the prayer of the Holy Prophet (s). He described it as two units: in each unit recite Surah al-Fatihah once and Surah al-Qadr fifteen times. In ruku' recite it fifteen times, upon rising fifteen times, in the first sajdah fifteen times, between sajdahs fifteen times, in the second sajdah fifteen times, and upon rising before the next unit fifteen times.
Text and Translation
After concluding the two units of prayer, say the following supplication:
لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ رَبُّنَا وَ رَبُّ اٰبَآئِنَا الْاَوَّلِيْنَ
LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAHU RABBUNAA WA RABBU AABAAA'INAL AWWALEEN
There is no god save Allah, our Lord and the Lord of our forefathers.
لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ اِلٰهًا وَاحِدًا وَّ نَحْنُ لَهٗ مُسْلِمُوْنَ
LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAHU ILAAHAN WAAHIDAN WA NAHNU LAHOO MUSLIMOON
There is no god save Allah, One God, and unto Him we submit.
لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ لَا نَعْبُدُ اِلَّاۤ اِيَّاهُ مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهُ الدِّيْنَ وَ لَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُوْنَ
LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAHU LAA NA'BUDU ILLAA IYYAAHU MUKHLISEENA LAHUD DEENA WA LAW KARIHAL MUSHRIKOON
There is no god save Allah; we worship none save Him, being sincere to Him in religion, though the polytheists be averse.
