Merits

Namaz e Kamilah (The Perfect Prayer) is reported from Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (a.s.) as one of the most rewarding optional prayers to be offered on Fridays before the noon prayer.

Text and Translation

Offer a four-unit prayer (in sets of two). In each unit, recite [Surah al-Fatihah](A5) once, and repeat [Surah al-Tawhid](A116), [Surah al-Falaq](A117), [Surah al-Nas](A118), [Surah al-Kafirun](A113), and [Ayat al-Kursi](A6#L255) each seven times.

Upon concluding the prayer, recite the following imploration for forgiveness seventy times:

اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّٰهَ رَبِّيْ وَ اَتُوْبُ اِلَيْهِ

ASTAGHFIRULLAAHA RABBEE WA ATOOBU ILAYH

I seek forgiveness of Allah, my Lord, and to Him I turn in repentance.

Then repeat the following doxology seventy times:

سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ وَ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَ اللّٰهُ اَكْبَرُ وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيْمِ

SUBHAANALLAAHI WAL-HAMDU LILLAAHI WA LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAHU WALLAAHU AKBAR, WA LAA HAWLA WA LAA QUWWATA ILLAA BILLAAHIL A'LIYYIL A'ZEEM

Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, and there is no god save Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, and there is no power and no strength except with Allah, the Most High, the All-magnificent.

Then repeat the Salawat upon the Holy Prophet and his Household seventy times.
