Namaz at Seeing a non-Muslims

Text and Translation

Twenty-eighth: The Holy Prophet (s) is reported to have said: Whoever, upon seeing a Jew, a Christian, or a Magus says this prayer, Almighty Allah will not include him with the nonbelievers in Hellfire:

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِىْ فَضَّلَنِىْ عَلَيْكَ بِالْاِسْلَامِ دِيْنًا،وَ بِالْقُرْاٰنِ كِتَابًا،وَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيًّا،وَ بِعَلِىٍّ اِمَامًا،وَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ اِخْوَانًا،وَ بِالْكَعْبَةِ قِبْلَةً.

ALHAMDU LILLAAHIL LAZEE FAZZALANEE A'LAYKA BIL ISLAAMI DEENAA, WA BIL QURAANI KITAABAA, WA BIMUHAMMADIN NABIYYAA, WA BI'ALIYYIN IMAAMAA, WA BIL MU'MINEENA IKHWAANAA, WA BIL KA'BATI QIBLAH.

All praise be to Allah Who has favoured me over you with Islam as religion, the Qur'an as book, Muhammad as prophet, 'Ali as Imam, the believers as brethren, and the Ka'bah as qiblah.
