Text and Translation

This evil-repelling prayer is ascribed to our master the Rising Imam al-Mahdi (a.t.f.s.):

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

BISMIL LAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM

In the Name of Allah; the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

يَا مَالِكَ الرِّقَابِ وَ يَا هَازِمَ الْاَحْزَابِ

YAA MAALEKAR REQAABE WA YAA HAAZEMAL AHZAABE

O owner of all selves! O defeater of the allies!

يَا مُفَتِّحَ الْاَبْوَابِ يَا مُسَبِّبَ الْاَسْبَابِ

YAA MOFATTEHAL ABWAABE YAA MOSABBEBAL ASBAABE

O opener of all doors! O creator of all causes!

سَبِّبْ لَنَا سَبَبًا لَّا نَسْتَطِيْعُ لَهٗ طَلَبًا

SABBIB LANAA SABABAL LAA NASTATEE-O’ LAHU TALABAN

Facilitate for us a means [and opening] that we could not have ever sought or attained on our own,

بِحَقِّ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَّسُوْلُ اللهِ

BE-HAQQE LAAA ELAAHA ILLAL LAAHO MOHAMMADUR RASOOLUL LAAHE

by the right of 'There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah'

صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَلٰى اٰلِهٖ اَجْمَعِيْنَ.

SALLAL LAAHO A’LAYHE WA A’LAA AALEHI AJMAE’EN.

may the blessings of Allah be upon him and upon all of his family.
