Dua to be recited after Namaz-e-Subh

Text and Translation

It is narrated that those who recite this dua after Namaz-e-Subh, their prayers will be answered and their difficulties will be eased.

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

بِسْمِ اللهِ وَ صَلَّی اللهُ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهٖ

BISMIL LAAHE WA SALLAL LAAHO A’LAA MOHAMMADIN WA AALEHEE

(I begin) in the name of Allah. O Allah, send blessings on Mohammed and on the children of Mohammed.

وَ اُفَوِّضُ اَمْرِیْ اِلَی اللهِ اِنَّ اللهَ بَصِيْرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ

WA OFAWWEZO AMREE ELAL LAAHE INNAL LAAHA BASEERUM BIL-E’BAADE

I entrust my cause (affairs) to Allah. Verily, Allah looks after (His) servants.

فَوَقَاهُ اللهُ سَيِّئَاتِ مَا مَكَرُوْا

FAWAQAAHUL LAAHO SAYYE-AATE MAA MAKAROO

Allah keeps His eyes open to the evil which is done.

لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ اِنِّىْ كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِيْنَ.

LAA ELAAHA ILLAA ANTA SUBH’AANAKA INNEE KUNTO MENAZ ZAALEMEENA

There is no god save You, glory be to You; verily I have been of the unjust.”

فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهٗ وَ نَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْغَمِّ، وَ كَذٰلِكَ نُنْجِی الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ،

FASTAJABNAA LAHU WA NAJJAYNAAHO MENAL GHAMME WA KAZAALEKA NUNJIL MOAMENEENA

“So We compiled with their request and saved them from worries, and like this We come to the rescue of believers.”

حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَ نِعْمَ الْوَكِيْلُ

HASBONAL LAAHO WA NE’MAL WAKEELO

Allah is sufficient for us; and the most excellent protector is He.

فَانْقَلَبُوْا بِنِعْمَةٍ مِّنَ اللهِ وَ فَضْلٍ

FANQALABOO BE-NE’MATIM MENAL LAAHE WA FAZLIN

They returned therefore, with grace and favour from Allah,

لَّمْ يَمْسَسْهُمْ سُوْ ءٌ، مَا شَآءَ اللهُ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ اِلاَّ بِاللهِ،

LAM YAMSAS-HUM SOO-UN MAA SHAA-AL LAAHO LAA HAWLA WA LAA QUWWATA ILLAA BILLAAHE

and no harm touched them. (It is) as Allah wills. There is no stratagem and no power save with Allah.

مَا شَآءَ اللهُ لَا مَا شَآءَ النَّاسُ

MAA SHAA-AL LAAHO LAA MAA-SHAA-AN NAASO

(It is) as Allah wills; not as the people want (it).

مَا شَآءَ اللهُ وَ اِنْ كَرِهَ النَّاسُ

MAA SHAA-AL LAAHO WA IN KAREHAN NAASO

(It is) as Allah wills; be it that the people do not like (it).

حَسْبِیَ الرَّبُّ مِنَ الْمَرْبُوْبِيْنَ

HASBEYAR RABBO MENAL MARBOOBEEN

Sufficient for me is the Lord against the (other) lords (His servants).

حَسْبِیَ الْخَالِقُ مِنَ الْمَخْلُوْقِيْنَ

HASBEYAL KHAALEQO MINAL MAKHLOQEENA

Sufficient for me is the creator, against the creatures (that have been created by Him.)

حَسْبِیَ الرَّازِقُ مِنَ الْمَرْزُوْقِيْنَ

HASBEYAR RAAZEQO MENAL MARZOOQEENA

Sufficient for me is the nourisher, against those who receive livelihood (from Him).

حَسْبِیَ اللهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ

HASBEYAL LAAHO RABBUL A’ALAMEENA

Sufficient for me is Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

حَسْبِیْ مَنْ هُوَ حَسْبِیْ

HASBEE MAN HOWA HASBEE

Sufficient for me is He. Sufficient for me,

حَسْبِیْ مَنْ لَّمْ يَزَلْ حَسْبِیْ

HASBEE MAN LAM YAZAL HASBEE

sufficient for me is He who is “Lam Yazal” (does not ever pass away).

حَسْبِیْ مَنْ كَانَ مُذْ كُنْتُ لَمْ يَزَلْ حَسْبِیْ

HASBEE MAN KAANA MUZ KUNTO LAM YAZAL HASBEE

Sufficient for me, sufficient for me is He who is the creator, and I am the creation (and does not ever pass away).

حَسْبِیَ اللهُ لآ اِلٰهَ اِلاَّ هُوَ عَلَيْهِ

HASBEYAL LAAHO LAA ELAAHA ILLAA HOWA A’LAYHE

Sufficient for me, sufficient for me is Allah, there is no god save He.

تَوَكَّلْتُ وَ هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ.

TAWAKKALTO WA HOWA RABBUL A’RSHIL A’ZEEME.

I put my trust in Him, and He is the Lord of the great arsh.
