Sayyid Ibn Tawus, in Muhaj al-Da’awat, has narrated on the authority of Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (a.s.) that Archangel Jibraeel, once, came to the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) and said, “O Allah’s Prophet, indeed, I have never loved any prophets as much as I loved you. You thus may repeat the following supplicatory prayer as many times as possible:
ALLAAHUMMA INNAKA TARAA WA LAA TORAA WA ANTA BIL-MANZARIL AA’LAA WA ANNA ELAYKAL MUNTAHAA WAR RUJ-A’A WA ANNA LAKAL AAKHERATA WAL OOLAA WA ANNA LAKAL MAMAATA WAL MAHYAA WA RABBE A-O’OZO BEKA AN OZALLA AW UKHZAA.
O Allah, indeed You see and You are not seen, and You are in the highest vantage point. To You is the ultimate end and the return, and to You belong the Hereafter and the first life. To You belong death and life, and my Lord, I seek refuge in You from being humiliated or disgraced.
