The fourth hour is the space of time between the rise of daylight up to midday (zuhr). It is dedicated to Imam Ali ibn al-Husayn (a). The following is the supplication at this hour:

O Allah, Your light has become pure in the fullness of Your greatness, and Your radiance has risen in the most brilliant of Your glow; I beseech You by Your light, through which You illuminated the heavens and the earths, shattered the tyrants, revived the dead, caused the living to die, gathered the scattered, scattered the gathered, perfected the words, and established the heavens; I beseech You by the right of Your intimate friend Ali ibn al-Husayn, upon him be peace, the defender of Your religion and the strider in Your path, and I present him before my needs, that You bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, and that You do for me such-and-such.
You may now mention your needs.
