Dua for seeking forgiveness which leads to more knowledge & more Fortune

Text and Translation

Another tradition reported from Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.) holds that whoever says this imploration for Almighty Allah's forgiveness four hundred times each day for two successive months will be granted much knowledge or much fortune.

اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّٰهَ الَّذِيْ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّوْمُ الرَّحْمٰنَ الرَّحِيْمَ بَدِيْعُ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَ الْاَرْضِ مِنْ جَمِيْعِ ظُلْمِيْ وَ جُرْمِيْ وَ اِسْرَافِيْ عَلٰى نَفْسِيْ وَ اَتُوْبُ اِلَيْهِ

ASTAGHFIRUL LAAHAL LAZEE LAA ELAAHA ILLAA HOWAL HAYYUL QAYYOOMAR RAHMAANAR RAHEEMA BADEE-O'S SAMAAWAATE WAL ARZE MIN JAMEE-E ZULMEE WA JURMEE WA ISRAAFEE ALAA NAFSEE WA ATOOBO ILAYHE

I seek the forgiveness of Allah, other than Whom there is no god, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting, the All-Merciful, the All-Compassionate, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, from all my wrongdoing, my transgression, and my excess against my own soul, and I turn to Him in repentance.
