Merits
Sayyid Ali ibn Fazlullah al-Husayni al-Rawandi, in Nathr al-La'ali, relates: when a man complained to Prophet Jesus, son of Mary (a), about his debts, Jesus (a) taught him this supplication, adding that even if his debts filled the globe, Allah would surely help him settle them if he recited it constantly.
Text and Translation
اَللّٰهُمَّ يَا فَارِجَ الْهَمِّ وَ مُنَفِّسَ الغَمِّ وَ مُذْهِبَ الْاَحْزَانِ وَ مُجِيْبَ دَعْوَةِ الْمُضْطَرِّيْنَ
ALLAAHUMMA YAA FAARIJAL HAMMI WA MUNAFFISAL GHAMMI WA MUZ-HIBAL AHZAANI WA MUJEEBA DA'WATIL MUDTARREEN
O Allah, O Reliever of anxiety, Dispeller of grief, Remover of sorrows, and Answerer of the call of the distressed,
يَا رَحْمٰنَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْاٰخِرَةِ وَ رَحِيْمَهُمَا اَنْتَ رَحْمٰنِىْ وَ رَحْمٰنُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ
YAA RAHMAANAD DUNYAA WAL AAKHIRATI WA RAHEEMAHUMAA ANTA RAHMAANEE WA RAHMAANU KULLI SHAY
O All-beneficent of this world and the Hereafter, and All-merciful of them both; You are my All-beneficent, and the All-beneficent of everything,
فَارْحَمْنِىْ رَحْمَةً تُغْنِيْنِىْ بِهَا عَنْ رَحْمَةِ مَنْ سِوَاكَ وَ تَقْضِىْ بِهَا عَنِّىْ الدَّيْنَ
FARHAMNEE RAHMATAN TUGHNEENEE BIHAA A'N RAHMATI MAN SIWAAKA WA TAQDEE BIHAA A'NNEED DAYN
so have mercy on me with a mercy that makes me needless of the mercy of any but You, and by which You settle my debt for me.
