Dua for getting Male Child

Merits

Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (a) said: when a woman is four months pregnant, her husband may turn her to face the qiblah, recite Ayat al-Kursi, gently strike her side with his hand, and say this. Almighty Allah will then decide the child to be male; if named Muhammad he will be blessed, and if not, the matter rests with Allah, Who may take the child or grant him to you as a gift.
