Dua al-Hujjah اِلٰهِيْ بِحَقِّ مَنْ نَاجَاكَ

Text and Translation

According to (the book of) Muhajj al-Da’waat, this is the supplicatory prayer of the Proof of Allah (i.e. Imam al-Mahdi al-Hujjah):

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْم

BISMIL LAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM.

In the Name of Allah, the All-merciful, the All-compassionate

اِلٰهِيْ بِحَقِّ مَنْ نَاجَاكَ

ELAAHI BEHAQQE MAN NAAAJAAKA

O my Allah, in the name of all those who have besought you

وَ بِحَقِّ مَنْ دَعَاكَ

WA BEHAQQE MAN DA-A’AKA

and in the name of all those who have prayed to you

فِي الْبَرِّ وَ الْبَحْرِ

FILBARRE WAL BAHRE

in lands and seas,

صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

SALLE A’LAA MOHAMMADIN WA AALE MOHAMMADIN

bless Muhammad and his Household,

وَ تَفَضَّلْ عَلٰى فُقَرَاۤءِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ

WA TAFAZZAL A’LAA FOQARAAIL MOAMENEENA WAL MOAMENAATE

bestow upon the poor among the believing men and women

بِالْغَنَاۤءِ وَ الثَّرْوَةِ

BILGHANAAE WAS SARWATE

with wealth and fortune,

وَ عَلٰى مَرْضَى الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ

WA A’LAA MARZAL MOAMENEENA WAL MOAMENAATE

upon the ailed believing men and women

بِالشِّفَاۤءِ وَ الصِّحَّةِ

BISH SHEFAAE WAS SEHHATE

with healing and health,

وَ عَلٰۤى اَحْيَاۤءِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ

WA A’LAA AHYAAIL MOAMENEENA WAL MOAMENAATE

upon the living believing men and women

بِاللُّطْفِ وَ الْكَرَمِ

BILLUTFE WAL KARAME

with kindness and generosity,

وَ عَلٰۤى اَمْوَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ

WA A’LAA AMWAATIL MOAMENEENA WAL MOAMENAATE

upon the dead believing men and women

بِالْمَغْفِرَةِ وَ الرَّحْمَةِ

BILMAGHFERATE WAR RAHMATE

with forgiveness and mercy,

وَ عَلٰى غُرَبَاۤءِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ

WA A’LAA GHORABAAIL MOAMENEENA WAL MOAMENAATE

and upon the emigrant believing men and women

بِالرَّدِّ اِلٰۤى اَوْطَانِهِمْ

BIRRADDE ELAA AWTAANEHIM

with returning them home

سَالِمِيْنَ غَانِمِيْنَ

SAALEMEENA GHAANEMEENA

peacefully and successfully,

بِمُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِهِ اَجْمَعِيْنَ.

BE-MOHAMMADIN WA AALEHI AJMAE’ENA.

in the name of Muhammad and the members of his Household.
