Another Namaz for more Sustenance

Text and Translation

Before you go to your shop (or place of work), you may go to the mosque to offer two or four units of prayer, after which you may say the following supplication:

غَدَوْتُ بِحَوْلِ اللهِ وَ قُوَّتِهٖ وَ غَدَوْتُ بِلَا حَوْلٍ مِّنِّىْ وَ لَا قُوَّةٍ وَلٰكِنْ بِحَوْلِكَ وَ قُوَّتِكَ يَا رَبِّ اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنّى عَبْدُكَ اَلْتَمِسُ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ كَمَا اَمَرْتَنِىْ فَيَسِّرْ لِىْ ذٰلِكَ وَ اَنَا خَافِضٌ فِىْ عَافِيَتِكَ

GHADAWTU BI-HAWLILLAAHI WA QUWWATIHI WA GHADAWTU BI-LAA HAWLIM MINNEE WA LAA QUWWATIN WA LAAKIN BI-HAWLIKA WA QUWWATIKA YAA RABB, ALLAAHUMMA INNEE A'BDUKA ALTAMISU MIN FADLIKA KAMAA AMARTANEE FA-YASSIR LEE ZAALIKA WA ANAA KHAAFIDUN FEE A'AFIYATIK

I have begun this morning by Allah's might and His strength, and I have begun this morning with no might of my own and no strength, but by Your might and Your strength, O my Lord. O Allah, verily I am Your servant, seeking of Your bounty as You have commanded me; so make that easy for me, while I remain humble within Your well-being.

You may offer a two-unit prayer; in the first unit, recite [Surah al-Fatihah](A5) once and repeat [Surah al-Kawthar](A112) (no. 108) three times. In the second unit, recite Surah al-Fatihah once and repeat [Surah al-Falaq](A117) and [Surah al-Nas](A118) each three times.
