Merits
In his book al-Da'awat, al-Qutb al-Rawandi reports Imam al-Rida (a.s.) quoting the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.): whoever wishes his status in the Highest Group to excel that of the warriors for Allah's sake should repeat this glorification every day. If he has a request, it will be granted; if he has an enemy, that enemy will be suppressed; if he has a debt, it will be settled; if he is in agony, he will be relieved; and his words will penetrate the Seven Skies to be written in the Preserved Tablet (al-Lawh al-Mahfuz).
Text and Translation
سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ كَمَا يَنْبَغِىْ لِلّٰهِ
SUBHAANAL LAAHE KAMAA YANBAGHEE LILLAAH
Glory be to Allah as He deserves,
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ كَمَا يَنْبَغِىْ لِلّٰهِ
WAL HAMDO LILLAAHE KAMAA YANBAGHEE LILLAAH
and praise be to Allah as He deserves,
وَ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ كَمَا يَنْبَغِىْ لِلّٰهِ
WA LAA ELAAHA ILLAL LAAHO KAMAA YANBAGHEE LILLAAH
and there is no god but Allah as He deserves,
وَاللّٰهُ اَكْبَرُ كَمَا يَنْبَغِىْ لِلّٰهِ
WALLAAHO AKBARU KAMAA YANBAGHEE LILLAAH
and Allah is greater as He deserves,
وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ
WA LAA HAWLA WA LAA QOOWATA ILLAA BILLAAH
and there is no power and no might except with Allah,
وَ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِىِّ وَ عَلٰى اَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ وَ جَمِيْعِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَ النَّبِيِّيْنَ حَتّٰى يَرْضَى اللّٰهُ
WA SALLAL LAAHO ALAA MOHAMMADININ NABIYYE WA ALAA AHLE BAYTEHI WA JAMEE-IL MURSALEENA WAN NABIYYEENA HATTAA YARZAL LAAHO
and may Allah send blessings upon Muhammad the Prophet and upon his Household and all the Messengers and Prophets, until Allah is pleased.
