Text and Translation
اَعُوْذُ بِجَلَالِ وَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيْمِ اَنْ يَّنْقَضِيَ عَنِّيْ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ اَوْ يَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ مِنْ لَّيْلَتِيْ هٰذِهٖ وَ لَكَ قِبَلِيْ تَبِعَةٌ اَوْ ذَنْبٌ تُعَذِّبُنِيْ عَلَيْهِ
A'OODHU BI-JALAALI WAJHIKAL KAREEMI AY YANQADIYA A'NNEE SHAHRU RAMADAANA AW YATLU'AL FAJRU MIL LAYLATEE HAADHIHEE WA LAKA QIBALEE TABI'ATUN AW DHAMBUN TU'ADHDHIBUNEE A'LAYH
I seek refuge in the majesty of Your noble Face lest the month of Ramadan passes away from me, or dawn breaks upon this night of mine, while there still remains a consequence or sin for which You may punish me.
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَدِّ عَنَّا حَقَّ مَا مَضٰى مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَ اغْفِرْ لَنَا تَقْصِيْرَنَا فِيْهِ
ALLAAHUMMA ADDI A'NNAA HAQQA MAA MADAA MIN SHAHRI RAMADAANA WAGHFIR LANAA TAQSEERANAA FEEH
O Allah, fulfill on our behalf the duty of whatever has passed of the month of Ramadan, and forgive our shortcomings therein,
وَ تَسَلَّمْهُ مِنَّا مَقْبُوْلًا وَّ لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا بِاِسْرَافِنَا عَلٰٓى اَنْفُسِنَا وَ اجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَرْحُوْمِيْنَ وَ لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَحْرُوْمِيْنَ
WA TASALLAMHU MINNAA MAQBOOLAW WA LAA TU'AAKHIDHNAA BI-ISRAAFINAA A'LAA ANFUSINAA WAJ-A'LNAA MINAL MARHOOMEENA WA LAA TAJ'ALNAA MINAL MAHROOMEEN
and receive it from us accepted, and do not hold against us our extravagance against ourselves, and make us among those shown mercy, and do not make us among the deprived.
