Merits
The 21st Night of Ramadan is the second of the Qadr Nights and the night of the martyrdom of Amir al-Mu'minin (a.s.).
Text and Translation
In addition to the common rites of the Qadr Nights, it is recommended to recite the following supplication on this night:
يَا مُوْلِجَ اللَّيْلِ فِي النَّهَارِ وَ مُوْلِجَ النَّهَارِ فِي اللَّيْلِ
YAA MOOLIJAL LAYLI FIN NAHAARI WA MOOLIDJAN NAHAARI FIL LAYL
O Merger of the night into the day and Merger of the day into the night!
وَ مُخْرِجَ الْحَيِّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَ مُخْرِجَ الْمَيِّتِ مِنَ الْحَيِّ
WA MUKHRIJAL HAYYI MINAL MAYYITI WA MUKHRIJAL MAYYITI MINAL HAYY
O Extractor of the living from the dead and Extractor of the dead from the living!
يَا رَازِقَ مَنْ يَّشَآءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ يَاۤ اَللّٰهُ يَا رَحْمٰنُ يَا رَحِيْمُ
YAA RAAZIQA MAY YASHAAA'U BI-GHAYRI HISAAB, YAA ALLAAHU YAA RAHMAANU YAA RAHEEM
O Provider of sustenance to whomsoever You will without measure! O Allah! O All-beneficent! O All-merciful!
