Aamal & Duas for the days of Ramadhan

Text and Translation

Recite the following supplication every day during the month of Ramadan, as reported by Shaykh al-Mufid and Shaykh al-Tusi:

اَللّٰهُمَّ هٰذَا شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الْمُبَارَكُ الَّذِيْۤ اَنْزَلْتَ فِيْهِ الْقُرْاٰنَ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَ بَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدٰى وَ الْفُرْقَانِ

ALLAAHUMMA HAADHA SHAHRU RAMADAANAL MUBAARAKUL LAZEE ANZALTA FEEHIL QUR'AANA HUDAL LINNAASI WA BAYYINAATIM MINAL HUDAA WAL FURQAAN

O Allah, this is the blessed month of Ramadan in which You revealed the Qur'an as a guidance for humankind and clear proofs of the guidance and the Criterion.

فَعَظَّمْتَ حُرْمَتَهٗ بِمَاۤ اَنْزَلْتَ فِيْهِ مِنَ الْقُرْاٰنِ وَ خَصَصْتَهٗ بِالصِّيَامِ

FA-A'ZZAMTA HURMATAHOO BIMAA ANZALTA FEEHI MINAL QUR'AANI WA KHASAS-TAHOO BIS-SIYAAM

So You magnified its sanctity by revealing the Qur'an therein, and singled it out with fasting.

اَللّٰهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ سَلِّمْهُ لِيْ وَ سَلِّمْنِيْ فِيْهِ وَ تَسَلَّمْهُ مِنِّيْ فِيْ يُسْرٍ مِّنْكَ وَ عَافِيَةٍ

ALLAAHUMMA FA-SALLI A'LAA MUHAMMADIN WA AALI MUHAMMADIN WA SALLIMHU LEE WA SALLIMNEE FEEHI WA TASALLAMHU MINNEE FEE YUSRIM MINKA WA A'AFIYAH

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, and preserve it for me, and preserve me in it, and receive it from me in ease and well-being from You.
