Text and Translation

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اَعِنِّیْ فِیْهِ عَلٰی صِیَامِهٖ وَ قِیَامِهٖ

ALLAAHUMMA A-I’NNEE FEEHE A’LAA SEYAAMEHI WA QEYAAMEHI

O Allah, help me therein (in this month) to fast and to stand (in prayer).

وَ جَنِّبْنِیْ فِیْهِ مِنْ هَفَوَآتِهٖ وَ اٰثَامِهٖ

WA JANNIBNEE FEEHE MIN HAFAWAATEHI WA AASAAMEHI

And keep me away therein from its slips and its sins,

وَارْزُقْنِیْ فِیْهِ ذِكْرَكَ بِدَوَامِهٖ

WAR ZUQNEE FEEHE ZIKRAKA BEDAWAAMEHI

And grant me therein Your constant remembrance,

بِتَوْفِیْقِكَ یَاهَادِیَ الْمُضَالِّیْنَ.

BE-TAWFEEQEKA YAA HAADEYAL MOZILLEENA.

By Your grace, O Guide of those who go astray.
