Text and Translation

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ صِیَامِیْ فِیْهِ صِیَامَ الصَّآئِمِیْنَ

ALLAAHUMMAJ A’L SEYAAMEE FEEHE SEYAAMAS SAA-EMEENA

O Allah! During this month accept my fast as the fast of (accepted) Fast-keepers.

وَقِیَامِیْ فِیْهِ قِیَامَ الْقَآئِمِیْنَ

WA QEYAAMEE FEEHE QEYAAMAL QAA-EMEENA

Accept my standing in Namaz as the standing of the persons whose standing in Namaz is acceptable to Allah,

وَ نَبِّهْنِیْ فِيْهِ عَنْ نَوْمَۃِ الْغَافِلِیْنَ

WA NABBEHNEE FEEHE A’N NAWMATIL GHAAFELEENA

Keep me awake during this month and free from the dreams of the insensible negligent persons.

وَهَبْ لِیْ جُرْمِیْ فِیْهِ یَا اِلٰهَ الْعَالَمِیْنَ

WA HAB LEE JURMEE FEEHE YAA ELAAHAL A’ALAMEENA

In this holy month forgive my sins and errors, O the One worshipped in all the universe.

وَاعْفُ عَنِّیْ یَا عَافِیًا عَنِ الْمُجْرِمِیْنَ.

WA’ FO A’NNEE YAA A’AFEYAN A’NIL MUJREMEENA.

Pardon me O One Who pardons the sinners.
