Text and Translation

اَللّٰهُمَّ زَيِّنِّىْ فِيْهِ بِالسِّتْرِ وَ الْعَفَافِ، وَ اسْتُرْنِيْ فِيْهِ بِلِبَاسِ الْقُنُوْعِ وَ الْكَفَافِ، وَ احْمِلْنِيْ فِيْهِ عَلَى الْعَدْلِ وَ الْاِنْصَافِ، وَ اٰمِنِّىْ فِيْهِ مِنْ كُلِّ مَا اَخَافُ، بِعِصْمَتِكَ يَا عِصْمَةَ الْخَآئِفِيْنَ.

ALLAAHUMMA ZAYYENEE FEEHE BIS-SITRE WAL-A'FAAFE WAS-TURNEE FEEHE BE-LEBAASIL QONOO-E' WAL-KAFAAFE WAH-MILNEE FEEHE A'LAL A'DLE WAL-INSAAFE WA AAMINNEE FEEHE MIN KULLE MAA AKHAAFO BE-I'SMATEKA YAA I'SMATAL KHAA-EFEENA.

O Allah, on this day, (please) adorn me with covering and chastity, cover me on it with the dress of satisfaction and contentment, encourage me on this day to be just and impartial, secure me against whatever I fear, in the name of Your protection, O Shelter of the fearful ones!
