Merits
This Surah was revealed in Madinah and it has 3 verses. It is narrated that whoever recites this Surah in compulsory prayers will always be victorious over his enemies. On the Day of Judgement he will be given a book in which it will be written that he is free from hellfire.
Recitation of this Surah in the prayers ensures that the prayers are accepted. The one who recites this Surah frequently is held in the same status as those who were with the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) when Makkah was conquered.
Text and Translation
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
BISMIL LAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM
In the Name of Allah, the All-merciful, the All-compassionate
اِذَا جَآءَ نَصْرُ اللّٰهِ وَالْفَتْحُۙ(1)
EZAA JAAA-A NASRUL LAAHE WAL-FATHO.
When there comes the help of Allah and the victory,
وَرَاَيْتَ النَّاسَ يَدْخُلُوْنَ فِىْ دِيْنِ اللّٰهِ اَفْوَاجًا ۙ(2)
WA RA-AYATAN NAASA YADKHOLOONA FEE DEENIL LAAHE AFWAAJAN.
And you see men entering the religion of Allah in companies,
فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ ؔؕ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ تَوَّابًا(3)
FASABBEH BE-HAMDE RABBEKA WAS TAGHFIRH, INNAHU KAANA TAWWAABAA.
Then celebrate the praise of your Lord, and ask His forgiveness; surely He is oft-returning (to mercy).
