Ziyarat of Imam Mahdi (a.t.f.s.) after the Fajr Prayers (Allaahumma Balligh)

Text and Translation

The following form of ziyarah of our master the Patron of the Age (a.t.f.s.) is advisably said after every Fajr (dawn (fajr)) Prayer:

اَللّٰهُمَّ بَلِّغْ مَوْلَاىَ صَاحِبَ الزَّمَانِ

ALLAAHUMMA BALLIGH MAWLAAYA SAAHEBAZ ZAMAAN

O Allah, convey to my master the Patron of the Age,

صَلَوَاتُ اللّٰهِ عَلَيْهِ

SALAWAATUL LAAHE A’LAYHE

Allah’s blessings be upon him,

عَنْ جَمِيْعِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ

A’N JAMEE-I’L MOAMENEENA WAL MOAMENAAT

on behalf of all the believing men and women

فِىْ مَشَارِقِ الْاَرْضِ وَ مَغَارِبِهَا

FEE MASHAAREQIL ARZE WA MAGHAAREBEHAA

in the east and west sides of the earth,

وَ بَرِّهَا وَ بَحْرِهَا

WA BARREHAA WA BAHREHAA

in its lands and oceans,

وَ سَهْلِهَا وَ جَبَلِهَا

WA SAHLEHAA WA JABALEHAA

in its plains and mountains,

حَيِّهِمْ وَ مَيِّتِهِمْ

HAYYEHIM WA MAYYETEHIM

and both the alive and the dead,

وَ عَنْ وَالِدَىَّ وَ وُلْدِىْ وَ عَنِّيْ

WA A’N WAALEDAYYA WA WULDEE

and on behalf of my parents, my descendants, and me,

مِنَ الصَّلَوَاتِ وَ التَّحِيَّاتِ

WA A’NNEE MENAS SALAWAATE WAT-TAHIYYAATE

(convey to him) such blessings and greetings

زِنَةَ عَرْشِ اللّٰهِ

ZENATA A’RSHIL LAAHE

that are as heavy as the measure of the Throne of Allah,

وَ مِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهٖ

WA MEDAADA KALEMAATEHI

as much as the ink of His words,

وَ مُنْتَهٰى رِضَاهُ

WA MUNTAHAA REZAAHO

as endless as His pleasure,

وَ عَدَدَ مَاۤ اَحْصَاهُ كِتَابُهٗ

WA A’DADA MAA AHSAA-HO KETAABOHU

and as many as all that which has been calculated by His Books

وَ اَحَاطَ بِهٖ عِلْمُهٗ

WA AHAATA BEHI I’LMOHU

and comprehended by His knowledge.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيۤ اُجَدِّدُ لَهٗ فِيْ هٰذَا الْيَوْمِ

ALLAAHUMMA INNEE OJADDEDO LAHU FEE HAAZAL YAWME

O Allah, I update to him on this day

وَ فِيْ كُلِّ يَوْمٍ

WA FEE KULLE YAWMIN

and on all days

عَهْدًا وَّ عَقْدًا وَّ بَيْعَةً فِيْ رَقَبَتِيْ.

A’HDANW WA A’QDANW WA BAY-A’TAN FEE RAQABATEE

a pledge, a covenant, and an allegiance to which I commit up to my neck.

اَللّٰهُمَّ كَمَا شَرَّفْتَنِيْ بِهٰذَا التَّشْرِيْفِ

ALLAAHUMMA KAMAA SHARRAFTANEE BEHAAZAT TASH-REEFE

O Allah, just as You have endued me with this honor,

وَ فَضَّلْتَنِيْ بِهٰذِهِ الْفَضِيْلَةِ

WA FAZZALTANEE BE-HAAZEHIL FAZEELATE

conferred upon me this virtue,

وَ خَصَصْتَنِيْ بِهٰذِهِ النِّعْمَةِ

WA KHASASTANEE BE-HAAZEHIN NE’MATE

and granted me exclusively this bounty,

فَصَلِّ عَلٰى مَوْلَايَ وَ سَيِّدِيْ صَاحِبِ الزَّمَانِ

FASALLE A’LAA MAWLAAYA WA SAYYEDEE SAAHEBIZ ZAMAANE

so also send blessings upon my master and chief, the patron of the age,

وَ اجْعَلْنِيْ مِنْ اَنْصَارِهٖ

WAJ A’LNEE MIN ANSAAREHI

and make me of his supporters,

وَ اَشْيَاعِهٖ وَ الذَّآبِّيْنَ عَنْهُ

WA ASH-YAA-E’HI WAZ ZAAAB-BEENA A’NHO

adherents, and defenders,

وَ اجْعَلْنِيْ مِنَ الْمُسْتَشْهَدِيْنَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ

WAJ A’LNEE MENAL MUSTASH-HADEENA BAYNA YADAYHE

and make me of those who will be martyred in his presence,

طَاۤئِعًا غَيْرَ مُكْرَهٍ

TAAA-E-A’N GHAYRA MUKRAHIN

with full willingness and without compulsion,

فِي الصَّفِّ الَّذِيْ نَعَتَّ اَهْلَهٗ فِیْ كِتَابِكَ

FIS SAFFIL LAZEE NA-A’TTA AHLAHU FEE KETAABEKA

in the line whose people have been described in Your Book

فَقُلْتَ صَفًّا كَاَنَّهُمْ بُنْيَانٌ مَرْصُوْصٌ
