Taqibaat-e-Namaz-e-Zohr

Text and Translation

Dua to be recited after Namaz-e-Zohr

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ الْعَظِيْمُ الْحَلِيْمُ

LAA ELAAHA ILLAL LAAHUL A’ZEEMUL HALEEMO

There is no god save Allah, the Greatest, the Loving.

لَا اِلٰهَ اِلاَّ اللهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيْمُ

LAA ELAAHA ILLAL LAAHO RABBUL A’RSHIL

There is no god save Allah, the Lord of the exalted arsh.

الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ

KAREEMO AL-HAMDO LILLAAHE RABBIL A’ALAMEENA

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ مُوْجِبَاتِ رَحْمَتِكَ

ALLAAHUMMA INNEE AS-ALOKA MOOJEBAATE RAHMATEKA

O Allah, I beseech You for that which brings forth Your mercy

وَ عَزَآئِمَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ وَ الْغَنِيْمَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ بِرٍّ وَ السَّلَامَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ اِثْمٍ

WA A’ZAA-EME MAGHFERATEKA WAL GHANEEMATA MIN KULLE BIRRIN WAS-SALAAMATA MIN KULLE ISMIN

and for Your intention of forgiveness, and for safety from all sins.

اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا تَدَعْ لِيْ ذَنْبًا اِلاَّ غَفَرْتَهٗ وَ لَا هَمًّا اِلاَّ فَرَّجْتَهٗ

ALLAAHUMMA LAA TADA’ LEE ZAMBAN ILLAA GHAFARTAHU WA LAA HAMMAN ILLAA FARRAJTAHU

O Allah let there not be a single sin, not forgiven, not a worry, not dispersed,

وَ لَا سُقْمًا اِلاَّ شَفَيْتَهٗ وَ لَا عَيْبًا اِلاَّ سَتَرْتَهٗ

WA LAA SUQMAN ILLAA SHAFAYTAHU WA LAA A’YBAN ILLAA SATARTAHU

not a disease, that has not been healed, not a fault, that has not been concealed,

وَ لَا رِزْقًا اِلاَّ بَسَطْتَهٗ وَ لَا خَوْفًا اِلاَّ اٰمَنْتَهٗ

WA LAA RIZQAN ILLAA BASAT-TAHU WA LAA KHAWFAN ILLAA AAMANTAHU

let there be no livelihood that has not been multiplied, nor fear that has not been dispelled,

وَ لَا سُوْ ءًا اِلاَّ صَرَفْتَهٗ وَ لَا حَاجَةً هِيَ لَكَ رِضًا

WA LAA SOOO-AN ILLAA SARAFTAHU WA LAA HAAJATAN HEYA LAKA REZAN

no evil that has not been turned away, and (let there be) no desire,

وَّ لِيَ فِيْهَا صَلَاحٌ اِلاَّ قَضَيْتَهَا يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ

WA LEYA FEEHAA SALAAHUN ILLAA QAZAYTAHAA YAA ARHAMAR RAAHEMEENA

which You approve, and benefits me, that has not been satisfied, O the most Merciful of all the merciful.

اٰمِيْنَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ.

AAMEENA RABBAL A’ALAMEENA.

So be it, O Lord of the worlds.
