Dua of Imam Mahdi (a.t.f.s.) اَللّٰهُمَّ ادْفَعْ عَنْ وَلِيِّكَ...

Text and Translation

The supplicatory prayer is as follows:

اَللّٰهُمَّ ادْفَعْ عَنْ وَلِيِّكَ

ALLAAHUMMAD FA’ A’N WALIYYEKA

O Allah, defend Your vicegerent,

وَخَلِيْفَتِكَ وَحُجَّتِكَ عَلٰى خَلْقِكَ

WA KHALEEFATEKA WA HUJJATEKA A’LAA KHALQEKA

representative, decisive argument against Your creatures

وَلِسَانِكَ الْمُعَبِّرِ عَنْكَ

WA LESAANEKAL MO-A’BBARE A’NKAN

and mouthpiece who speaks on behalf of You

النَّاطِقِ بِحِكْمَتِكَ

NAATEQE BE-HIKMATEKA

and speaks with Your wisdom,

وَعَيْنِكَ النَّاظِرَةِ باِذْنِكَ

WA A’YNEKAN NAAZERATE BE-IZNEKA

Your eye that sees with Your permission,

وَشَاهِدِكَ عَلٰى عِبَادِكَ

WA SHA-HEDEKA A’LAA E’BAADEKAL

Your witness on Your servants,

الْجَحْجَاحِ الْمُجَاهِدِ الْعَاۤئِذِ بِكَ الْعَابِدِ عِنْدَكَ

JAH-JAAHIL MOJAAHEDIL A’AA-EZE BEKAL A’A-BEDE I’NDAKA

the magnanimous master, the striver (for the sake of Allah), the seeker of Your shelter and the full worshipper in Your measures.

وَاَعِذْهُ مِنْ شَرِّ جَمِيْعِ مَا خَلَقْتَ

WA A-I’ZHO MIN SHARRE JAMEE-E’ MAA KHALAQTA

Keep him safe from the evils of all that which You created,

وَبَرَاْتَ وَاَنْشَاْتَ وَصَوَّرْتَ

WA BARAATA WA AN-SHAATA WA SAWWARTA

originated, established and formed.

وَاحْفَظْهُ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهٖ

WAH FAZHO MIM BAYNE YADAYHE WA MIN KHALFEHI

And protect him from the sides of his front, his back,

وَعَنْ يَّمِيْنِهٖ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهٖ

WA A’Y YAMEENEHI WA A’N SHEMAALEHI

his right, his left,

وَمِنْ فَوْقِهٖ وَمِنْ تَحْتِهٖ

WA MIN FAWQEHI WA MIN TAHTEHI

above him and beneath him,

بِحِفْظِكَ الَّذِيْ لَا يُضِيْعُ مَنْ حَفِظْتَهٗ بِهٖ

BE-HIFZEKAL LAZEE LAA YOZEE-O’ MAN HAFIZTAHU BEHI

with Your safety that preserves from any loss.

وَاحْفَظْ فِيْهِ رَسُوْلَكَ

WAH FAZ FEEHE RASOOLAKA

And safeguard through him Your Messenger

وَاٰبَاۤئَهٗ اَئِمَّتَكَ وَدَعَاۤئِمَ دِيْنِكَ

WA AA-BAAA-AHU A-IMMATAKA WA DA-A’AA-EMA DEENEKA

and his fathers; the Imams appointed by You and the pillars of Your religion.

وَاجْعَلْهُ فِيْ وَدِيْعَتِكَ الَّتِيْ لَا تَضِيْعُ

WAJ A’LHO FEE WA-DEE-A’TEKAL LATEE LAA TAZEE-O’

And place him in Your deposit that is never lost,

وَفِيْ جِوَارِكَ الَّذِيْ لَا يُخْفَرُ

WA FEE JEWAAREKAL LAZEE LAA YUKH-FARO

in Your vicinity that is never violated

وَفِيْ مَنْعِكَ وَعِزِّكَ الَّذِيْ لَا يُقْهَرُ

WA FEE MAN-E’KA WA I’ZZEKAL LAZEE LAA YUQ-HARO

and in Your protection and almightiness that are never defeated.

وَاٰمِنْهُ بِاَمَانِكَ الْوَثِيْقِ الَّذِيْ لَا يُخْذَلُ مَنْ اٰمَنْتَهٗ بِهٖ

WA AA-MINHO BE-AMAANEKAL WASEEQIL LAZEE LAA YUKHZALO MAN AA-MANTAHU BEHI

And secure him by Your well-firmed security that does not forsake whoever takes asylum in it.

وَاجْعَلْهُ فِيْ كَنَفِكَ الَّذِيْ لَا يُرَامُ مَنْ كَانَ فِيْهِ

WAJ A’LHO FEE KA-NA-FEKAL LAZEE LAA YORAAMO MAN KAANA FEEHE

And make him under Your protection that saves whoever is put under it from any harm.

وَانْصُرْهُ بِنَصْرِكَ الْعَزِيْزِ

WAN SURHO BE-NASREKAL A’ZEEZE

Grant him Your insuperable victory,

وَاَيِّدْهُ بِجُنْدِكَ الْغَالِبِ

WA AYYID-HO BE-JUNDEKAL GHAA-LEBE

aid him with Your overcoming troops,

وَقَوِّهٖ بِقُوَّتِكَ وَاَرْدِفْهُ بِمَلَاۤئِكَتِكَ

WA QAWWEHI BE-QUWWATEKA WAR DIF-HO BE-MALAAA-EKATEKA

strengthen him with Your strength, put Your angels at his disposal,

وَوَالِ مَنْ وَالَاهُ وَعَادِ مَنْ عَادَاهُ

WA WAALE MAN WAALAAHO WA A’ADE MAN A’ADAAHO

support whoever supports him, be the enemy of whoever opposes him,

وَاَلْبِسْهُ دِرْعَكَ الْحَصِيْنَةَ

WA ALBISHO DIR-A’KAL HASEENATA

dress him Your fortified armor

وَحُفَّهٗ بِالْمَلَاۤئِكَةِ حَفًّا

WA HUFFAHU BIL-MALAAA-EKATE HAFFAN

and make the angels surround him totally.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اشْعَبْ بِهِ الصَّدْعَ

ALLAAHUMMASH A’B BEHIS SAD-A’

O Allah, through him patch up the differences of opinion,

وَارْتُقْ بِهِ الْفَتْقَ وَاَمِتْ بِهِ الْجَوْرَ

WAR TUQ BEHIL FATQA WA AMIT BEHIL JAWRA

bring into order confusion, eradicate oppression,

وَاَظْهِرْ بِهِ الْعَدْلَ وَزَيِّنْ بِطُوْلِ بَقَاۤئِهِ الْاَرْضَ

WA AZ-HIR BEHIL A’DLA WA ZAYYIN BE-TOOLE BAQAAA-EHIL ARZA

manifest justice, adorn the earth by a lengthy life for him,

وَاَيِّدْهُ بِالنَّصْرِ وَانْصُرْهُ بِالرُّعْبِ

WA AYYIDHO BIN-NASRE WAN SURHO BIR-RO’BE

support him with victory, grant him triumph by means of horror,

وَقَوِّ نَاصِرِيْهٖ وَاخْذُلْ خَاذِلِيْهِ

WA QAWWE NAASEREEHE WAKH ZUL KHAAZELEEHE

reinforce his supporters, thwart his disappointers,

وَدَمْدِمْ مَنْ نَصَبَ لَهٗ وَدَمِّرْ مَنْ غَشَّهٗ

WA DAMDIM MAN NASABA LAHU WA DAMMIR MAN GHASHSHAHU

crush those who lay traps for him, destroy those who cheat him,

وَاقْتُلْ بِهٖ جَبَابِرَةَ الْكُفْرِ وَعَمَدَهٗ وَدَعَاۤئِمَهٗ

WAQ TUL BEHI JABAABERATAL KUFRE WA A’MADAHU WA DA-A’AA-EMAHU

kill the tyrants, pillars and supports of infidelity at his hands,

وَاقْصِمْ بِهٖ رُؤُوْسَ الضَّلَالَةِ

WAQ SIM BEHI RO-OOSAZ ZALAALATE

uproot the heads of deviation,

وَشَارِعَةَ الْبِدَعِ وَمُمِيْتَةَ السُّنَّةِ

WA SHAARE-A’TAL BE-DA-E’ WA MOMEETATAS SUNNATE

the innovators of heresies, the eradicators of the Prophetic traditions

وَمُقَوِّيَةَ الْبَاطِلِ وَذَلِّلْ بِهِ الْجَبَّارِيْنَ

WA MOQAWWEYATAL BAATELE WA ZALLIL BEHIL JABBAAREENA

and the backers of wrong, humiliate the haughty tyrants,

وَاَبِرْ بِهِ الْكَافِرِيْنَ وَجَمِيْعَ الْمُلْحِدِيْنَ

WA ABRE BEHIL KAAFEREENA WA JAMEE-A’L MULHEDEENA

terminate the infidels and all atheists wherever they are –

فِيْ مَشَارِقِ الْاَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبِهَا

FEE MASHAAREKIL ARZE WA MAGHAAREBEHAA

in the east or the west of the earth

وَبَرِّهَا وَبَحْرِهَا وَسَهْلِهَا وَجَبَلِهَا

WA BARREHAA WA BAHREHAA WA SAH-LEHA WA JABALEHAA

or in lands or oceans, or in plains or on mountains,

حَتّٰى لَا تَدَعَ مِنْهُمْ دَيَّارًا وَلَا تُبْقِيَ لَهُمْ اٰثارًا

HATTAA LAA TADA’ MINHUM DAYYAARAN WA LAA TUBQEYA LAHUM AASAARAN

until You will not leave a single one of them and You will not leave a single trace of them.

اَللّٰهُمَّ طَهِّرْ مِنْهُمْ بِلَادَكَ

ALLAAHUMMA TAHHIR MINHUM BELAADAKA

O Allah, clear up Your lands from them,

وَاشْفِ مِنْهُمْ عِبَادَكَ وَاَعِزَّ بِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ

WASH FE MINHUM E’BAADAKA WA-A-I’ZZA BEHIL MOMENEENA

heal your servants’ hearts from them, consolidate the faithful believers through him,

وَاَحْيِ بِهٖ سُنَنَ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ

WA AHYE BEHI SONANAL MURSALEENA

revive the norms of the Messengers

وَدَارِسَ حُكْمِ النَّبِيِّيْنَ

WA DAARESA HUKMIN NABIYYEENA

and the obliterated rules of the Prophets

وَجَدِّدْ بِهٖ مَا امْتَحٰى مِنْ دِيْنِكَ

WA JADDID BEHI MAM TAHAA MIN DEENEKA

and renew the signs of Your religion that were erased

وَبُدِّلَ مِنْ حُكْمِكَ حَتّٰى تُعِيْدَ دِيْنَكَ بِهٖ

WA BUDDELA MIN HUKMEKA HATTAA TO-E’EDA DEENAKA BEHI

and Your judgments that were distorted; until you rekindle Your religion through him

وَعَلٰى يَدَيْهِ جَدِيْدًا غَضًّا مَحْضًا صَحِيْحًا

WA A’LAA YADAYHE JADEEDAN GHAZZAN MAHZAN SA-HEEHAN

and at his hands as well-defined, pure and sound as it is;

لَا عِوَجَ فِيْهِ وَلَا بِدْعَةَ مَعَهٗ

LAA E’WAJA FEEHE WA LAA BID-A’TA MA-A’HU

free from loopholes and heresies

وَحَتّٰى تُنِيْرَ بِعَدْلِهٖ ظُلَمَ الْجَوْرِ

WA HATTAA TONEERA BE-A’DLEHI ZOLAMAL JAWRE

and until You illumine the murk of unfairness by means of his justice,

وَتُطْفِئَ بِهٖ نِيْرَانَ الْكُفْرِ

WA TUT-FE-A BEHI NEERAANAL KUFRE

extinguish the fires of atheism though him

وَتُوْضِحَ بِهٖ مَعَاقِدَ الْحَقِّ

WA TOOZEHA BEHI MA-A’A-QEDAL HAQQE

and elucidate the positions of truth

وَمَجْهُوْلَ الْعَدْلِ فَاِنَّهٗ عَبْدُكَ الَّذِيْ

WA MAJHOOLAL A’DLE FA-INNAHU A’BDOKAL LAZIS

and the justice that will have been unknown. He is verily Your servant whom

اسْتَخْلَصْتَهٗ لِنَفْسِكَ وَاصْطَفَيْتَهٗ عَلٰى غَيْبِكَ

TAKHLASTAHU LE-NAFSEKA WAS TAFAYTAHU A’LAA GHAYBEKA

You have saved for Yourself, chosen for keeping the unseen matters of You,

وَعَصَمْتَهٗ مِنَ الذُّنُوْبِ وَبَرَاْتَهٗ مِنَ الْعُيُوْبِ

WA A’SAMTAHU MENAZ ZONOOBE WA BARAAA-TAHU MENAL O’YOOBE

protected against sins, cleaned from any defect,

وَطَهَّرْتَهٗ مِنَ الرِّجْسِ وَسَلَّمْتَهٗ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ

WA TAHHARTAHU MENAR RIZSE WA SALLAM-TAHU MENAD DANASE

purified from filth and kept sound against dirt.

اَللّٰهُمَّ فَاِنَّا نَشْهَدُ لَهٗ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

ALLAHUMMA FA-INNAA NASH-HADO LAHU YAWMAL QEYAAMATE

O Allah, we will verily testify to him on the Day of Resurrection

وَيَوْمَ حُلُوْلِ الطَّآمَّةِ اَنَّهٗ لَمْ يُذْنِبْ ذَنْبًا

WA YAWMA HOLOOLIT TAAAM-MATE ANNAHU LAM YUZNIB ZAMBAW

and on the day when the overwhelming event comes that he did not commit any single sin,

وَّلَاۤ اَتٰى حُوْبًا وَلَمْ يَرْتَكِبْ مَعْصِيَةً

WA LAA ATAA HOOBAW WA LAM YAR-TAKIB MA’SEYATAW

nor did he practice any unlawful thing, nor did he do any act of disobedience (to You),

وَّلَمْ يُضَيِّعْ لَكَ طَاعَةً وَّلَمْ يَهْتِكْ لَكَ حُرْمَةً

WA LAM YOZAYYE’ LAKA TAA-A’TAW WA LAM YAHTIK LAKA HURMATAW

nor did he miss any act of obedience (to You), nor did he violate any inviolable thing,

وَّلَمْ يُبَدِّلْ لَكَ فَرِيْضَةً وَّلَمْ يُغَيِّرْ لَكَ شَرِيْعَةً

WA LAM YOBADDIL LAKA FAREEZATAW WA LAM YOGHAYYIR LAKA SHA-REE-A’TAW

nor did he distort any precept, nor did he change any law.

وَّاَنَّهُ الْهَادِى الْمُهْتَدِيْ الطَّاهِرُ

WA ANNAHUL HAADIL MOHTADIT TAA-HERUT

And, moreover, he is verily the guiding, the rightly guided,

التَّقِيُّ النَّقِيُّ الرَّضِيُّ الزَّكِيُّ

TAQIYYUN NAQIYYUR RAZIYYUZ ZAKIYYO

the pure, the pious, the immaculate, the approved and the bright.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اَعْطِهٖ فِىْ نَفْسِهٖ وَاَهْلِهٖ وَوَلَدِهٖ

ALLAAHUMMA A-A’TEHI FEE NAFSEHI WA AHLEHI WA WALADEHI

O Allah, give him what he wishes regarding his own self his family, his sons,

وَذُرِّيَّتِهٖ وَاُمَّتِهٖ وَجَمِيْعِ رَعِيَّتِهٖ

WA ZURRIYYATEHI WA UMMATEHI WA JAMEE-E’ RA-I’YYATEHI

his offspring, his nation and all of his subjects

مَا تُقِرُّ بِهٖ عَيْنَهٗ وَتَسُرُّ بِهٖ نَفْسَهٗ

MAA TOQIRRO BEHI A’YNAHU WA TASURRO BEHI NAFSAHU

in such a way that makes him delighted and pleased in himself

وَتَجْمَعُ لَهٗ مُلْكَ الْمُمْلَكَاتِ كُلِّهَا

WA TAJ-MA-O’ LAHU MULKAL MUMLAKAATE KULLEHAA

and makes You put under his sphere of influence all kingdoms;

قَرِيْبِهَا وَبَعِيْدِهَا وَعَزِيْزِهَا وَذَلِيْلِهَا

QAREEBEHAA WA BA-E’EDEHAA WA A’ZEEZEHAA WA ZALEELEHAA

the near and the remote and the powerful and the weak

حَتّٰى تُجْرِيَ حُكْمُهٗ عَلٰى كُلِّ حُكْمٍ

HATTAA TUJREYA HUKMOHU A’LAA KULLE HUKMIW

so that You will cause his rule to prevail over every rule

وَّتَغْلِبَ بِحَقِّهٖ عَلٰي كُلِّ بَاطِلٍ

WA TAGHLEBA BE-HAQQEHI A’LAA KULLE BAATELIN

and his right (issue) to overcome the entire wrongness.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اسْلُكْ بِنَا عَلٰى يَدَيْهِ مِنْهَاجَ الْهُدٰى

ALLAAHUMMAS LUK BENAA A’LAA YADAYHE MINHAAJAL HODAA

O Allah, lead us at his hands to the course of guidance,

وَالْمَحَجَّةَ الْعُظْمٰى وَالطَّرِيْقَةَ الْوُسْطَى

WAL MA-HAJJATAL U’ZMAA WAT TAREEQATAL WUSTAL

the greatest Path and the equitable way of life

الَّتِيْ يَرْجِعُ اِلَيْهَا الْغَالِيْ وَيَلْحَقُ بِهَا التَّالِيْ

LATEE YAR-JE-O’ ELAYHAL GHAALEE WA YALHAQO BEHAT TAALEE

to which those who had gone too far will come back (repentant) and those who had fallen down will catch up.

وَقَوِّنَا عَلٰى طَاعَتِهٖ وَثَبِّتْنَا عَلٰى مُشَايَعَتِهٖ

WA QAWWENAA A’LAA TAA-A’TEHI WA SABBITNAA A’LAA MOSHAA-YA-A’TEHI

And encourage us to carry out acts of obedience to him, make us stand firmly in following him,

وَامْنُنْ عَلَيْنَا بِمُتَابَعَتِهٖ

WAM NUN A’LAYNAA BE-MOTAA-BA-A’TEHI

endue us with the favor of adherence to him

وَاجْعَلْنَا فِيْ حِزْبِهِ الْقَوَّامِيْنَ بِاَمْرِهِ

WAJ A’LNAA FEE HIZBEHIL QAWWAAMEENA BE-AMREHIS

and include us with his group who achieve his commands,

الصَّابِرِيْنَ مَعَهُ الطَّالِبِيْنَ رِضَاكَ

SAABEREENA MA-A’HUT TAALE-BEENA REZAAKA

act steadfastly towards him and seek Your pleasure

بِمُنَاصَحَتِهٖ حَتّٰى تَحْشُرَنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

BE-MONAASAHATEHI HATTAA TAH-SHORANAA YAWMAL QEYAAMATE

by means of acting sincerely to him, so that You will gather us on the Resurrection Day

فِي اَنْصَارِهٖ وَاَعْوَانِهٖ وَمُقَوِّيَةِ سُلْطَانِهٖ

FEE ANSAAREHI WA A-A’WAANEHI WA MOQAWWEYATE SULTAANEHI

with his supporters, backers and those who consolidate his authority.

اَللّٰهُمَّ وَاجْعَلْ ذٰلِكَ لَنَا خَالِصًا مِّنْ كُلِّ شَكٍّ

ALLAAHUMMA WAJ A’L ZAALEKA LANAA KHAA-LESAM MIN KULLE SHAKKIW

O Allah, make us do all these things free from any doubt,

وَّشُبْهَةٍ وَّرِيَاۤءٍ وَّسُمْعَةٍ

WA SHUBHATIW WA REYAAA-IW WA SUM-A’TIN

confusion, ostentation and seeking of reputation

حَتّٰى لَانَعْتَمِدَ بِهٖ غَيْرَكَ

HATTAA LAA NA’TAMEDA BEHI GHAYRAKA

so that we will rely upon none save You

وَلَا نَطْلُبَ بِهٖ اِلَّا وَجْهَكَ

WA LAA NATLOBA BEHI ILLAA WAJHAKA

and seek none save Your sake

وَحَتّٰى تُحِلَّنَا مَحَلَّهٗ

WA HATTAA TO-HILLANAA MA-HALLAHU

and that You will put us up in his vicinity

وَتَجْعَلَنَا فِي الْجَنَّةِ مَعَهٗ

WA TAJ-A’LANAA FIL JANNATE MA-A’HU

and place us with him in Paradise.

وَاَعِذْنَا مِنَ السَّاْمَةِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْفَتْرَةِ

WA A-I’ZNAA MENAS SAA-MATE WAL KASALE WAL FATRATE

And protect us against weariness, laziness and lethargy

وَاجْعَلْنَا مِمَّنْ تَنْتَصِرُبِهٖ لِدِيْنِكَ

WAJ A’LNAA MIMMAN TAN-TASERO BEHI LE-DEENEKA

and include us with those whom You take up for backing Your religion

وَتُعِزُّ بِهٖ نَصْرَ وَلِيِّكَ

WA TO-I’ZZO BEHI NASRA WALIYYEKA

and for increasing the victory of Your vicegerent.

وَلَا تَسْتَبْدِلْ بِنَا غَيْرَنَا

WA LAA TAS-TAB-DIL BENAA GHAYRANAA

Do not put others in our places,

فَاِنَّ اسْتِبْدَالَكَ بِنَا غَيْرَنَا عَلَيْكَ يَسِيْرٌ

FA-INNAS TIBDAALAKA BENAA GHAYRANAA A’LAYKA YASEERUW

because it is easy for You to put others in our places,

وَّهُوَ عَلَيْنَا كَثِيْرٌ

WA HOWA A’LAYNAA KASEERUN

but it is extremely difficult for us if You do it.

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى وُلَاةِ عَهْدِهٖ

ALLAAHUMMA SALLE A’LAA WOLAATE A’HDEHI

O Allah, send blessings upon his representatives

وَالْاَئِمَّةِ مِنْ بَعْدِهٖ

WAL A-IMMATE MIM BA’DEHI

and the leaders after him,

وَبَلِّغْهُمْ اٰمَالَهُمْ وَزِدْ فِي اٰجَالِهِمْ

WA BALLIGHHUM AAMAALAHUM WA ZID FEE AAJAALEHIM

make them attain their wishes, increase their lifetimes,

وَاَعِزَّ نَصْرَهُمْ

WA A-I’ZZA NASRAHUM

support their victory,

وَتَمِّمْ لَهُمْ مَا اَسْنَدْتَ اِلَيْهِمْ مِنْ اَمْرِكَ لَهُمْ

WA TAMMIM LAHUM MAA AS-NADTA ELAYHIM MIN AMREKA LAHUM

make perfect for them Your orders that You bid them to carry out,

وَثَبِّتْ دَعَاۤئِمَهُمْ وَاجْعَلْنَا لَهُمْ اَعْوَانًا

WA SABBIT DA-A’AA-EMAHUM WAJ A’LNAA LAHUM A-A’WAANAW

strengthen their pillars and make us their helpers

وَّعَلٰى دِيْنِكَ اَنْصَارًا

WA A’LAA DEENEKA ANSAARAN

and supporters of Your religion.

فَاِنَّهُمْ مَعَادِنُ كَلِمَاتِكَ

FA-INNAHUM MA-A’A-DENO KALEMAATEKA

They are the essence of Your Words,

وَخُزَّانُ عِلْمَكَ وَاَرْكَانُ تَوْحِيْدِكَ

WA KHUZZAANO I’LMEKA WA ARKAANO TAWHEEDEKA

the hoarders of Your knowledge, the pillars of the profession of Your Oneness,

وَدَعَاۤئِمُ دِيْنِكَ وَوُلَاةُ اَمْرِكَ

WA DA-A’AA-EMO DEENEKA WA WOLAATO AMREKA

the posts of Your religion, the authorities of Your commands,

وَخَالِصَتُكَ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ

WA KHAALESATOKA MIN E’BAADEKA

the choices over Your servants,

وَصَفْوَتُكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ

WA SAFWATOKA MIN KHALQEKA

the well-chosen ones from among Your creatures,

وَاَوْلِيَاۤئُكَ وَسَلَاۤئِلُ اَوْلِيَاۤئِكَ

WA AWLE-YAAA-OKA WA SALAAA-ELO AWLE-YAAA-EKA

the vicegerents of You, the offspring of Your vicegerents

وَصَفْوَةُ اَوْلَادِ نَبِيِّكَ

WA SAFWATO AWLAADE NABIYYEKA

and the selected descendants of Your Prophet.

وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمْ

WAS-SALAAMO A’LAYHE WA A’LAYHIM

Peace be upon him and them.

وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكاتُهٗ.

WA RAHMATUL LAAHE WA BARAKAATOHU.

Allah’s mercy and blessings, too, be upon them.
